Hallstatt is a charming and picturesque village that feels almost like a postcard brought to life. We visited Hallstatt on a one day tour organised by this tour agency, travelling by bus from Salzburg and back on Christmas Eve. We arrived at around 10.15 am, and just as we stepped off the bus, it began to snow. The gentle snowfall created a magical atmosphere and provided a stunning backdrop to the beautiful streets and lakeside views. The village itself is small and serene, with a main street that is not very long, making it easy to explore on foot. Shops and stalls were just starting to open, adding to the calm and unhurried charm of the morning. As it was a day trip with limited time, we did not manage to visit the salt mine, and the Skywalk was closed during our visit. Instead, we chose to slow down and enjoy the moment by spending some time in a cosy café, soaking in the views and the peaceful winter ambience.

An unforgettable day trip to Hallstatt, thanks to Klook's itinerary. From the meeting time and place (Opera House, 7 AM), the guide's various explanations, including the history of Hallstatt, the history and background of salt mining, and the story of the Habsburg dynasty, were very clear, allowing a layman to quickly understand. Upon arrival, the guide led everyone on a tour of the town and patiently reminded everyone of the meeting time and precautions, giving me the fresh feeling of going on an outing as a child again. Thanks again! Of course, the scenery of Hallstatt is also incredibly beautiful, and I'm very happy to have joined this tour. Highly recommended!

Kylie war eine fantastische, informative und sehr unterhaltsame Reiseleiterin. Es gab viele Hintergrundinformationen und Wissenswertes über die Produktion von „The Sound of Music“. Atemberaubende Ausblicke auf Salzburg und die umliegenden Städte säumten die Route. Das Mitsingen während der Busfahrt ist auch ein Höhepunkt für alle Fans von „The Sound of Music“.

She was one of the kindest and most knowledgeable guides we’ve had, and she made the entire day such a memorable experience. She shared so much interesting history and insight about both places while always being warm, patient, and genuinely thoughtful. She also took beautiful pictures of us on the trip and even printed them out for us, which really made our trip excellent! Schöner Tagesausflug mit malerischer Aussicht von Wien aus. Der Bus war bequem und der Reiseleiter war sehr professionell. Ich habe den Tagesausflug sehr genossen und war pünktlich zum Abendessen wieder in der Stadt!
