The departure was very punctual. The check-in staff, driver, and tour guide were all locals and very friendly. The tour guide explained things in English and was very humorous, making everyone feel more at ease during the trip. We arrived at a rest stop about two hours after departure for food and restrooms, then continued driving for another 1.5 hours. We arrived around noon and returned to the meeting point at 3:30 PM. I initially thought 3.5 hours for the stop was too short, but then I realized the town is very small. 3.5 hours was more than enough! The day we went, the weather was perfectly clear, and the beauty was truly indescribable. I booked this trip a week before departure after checking the weather. I recommend not booking too early; wait until the weather looks good to avoid wasting an entire day. Also, the weather forecast for that day was 7-8 degrees Celsius, which was higher than Vienna city's 2-5 degrees Celsius. However, it was actually very cold there! Be sure to dress warmer than you would in the city!

An unforgettable day trip to Hallstatt, thanks to Klook's itinerary. From the meeting time and place (Opera House, 7 AM), the guide's various explanations, including the history of Hallstatt, the history and background of salt mining, and the story of the Habsburg dynasty, were very clear, allowing a layman to quickly understand. Upon arrival, the guide led everyone on a tour of the town and patiently reminded everyone of the meeting time and precautions, giving me the fresh feeling of going on an outing as a child again. Thanks again! Of course, the scenery of Hallstatt is also incredibly beautiful, and I'm very happy to have joined this tour. Highly recommended!

The guide explained everything thoroughly, and the driver's driving was excellent. It was much better than Hallstatt, which I visited before. However, two Chinese passengers were very noisy and kept shaking the seat of the person in front, which was a flaw. Overall, the trip was good.

I originally thought that visiting only one attraction a day was too little, but three hours in Hallstatt was just right. The guide took us on a tour and explained everything in detail. It's a very worthwhile tour to join, and the bus was very comfortable. It even included a boat trip for a distant view, allowing us to see the town from another angle.

The tour was very fuss free with prompt pick up at Vienna state Opera house. Schedule was just nice for a small village at Hallstatt and the views were amazing!

We went on a one-day trip to Hallstatt during the summer, and everything was great! The cost is perfect for those who want to travel without worrying about planning. The boat sightseeing included in the package is a bit short, so I recommend renting a boat separately at Hallstatt (around €33 for up to four people) if you want more time on the lake. You can also take a cable car up to the top of the mountain (about €22). Stefan, our guide, was incredibly friendly and had a great sense of humor, making the tour even more enjoyable. Overall, I would definitely recommend this trip—just be sure to check the weather before booking! It was a bit too sunny for me (as someone from Asia). P.S. If you want to enjoy the scenic bus ride (which is amazing!), try to sit on the left side, and it’s even better if you can get a seat near the front! 😍😍

The scenery is beautiful, the village is a famous tourist spot, and a must-visit destination for travelers when visiting Austria. The tour was very well organized, punctual, and followed the planned itinerary.

This is definitely a must-do experience when visiting Vienna! I have to give special praise to their staff. I only discovered the day before that hotel transfers could be arranged. I sent an inquiry email at 4 AM, and to my surprise, I received a response at 5 AM confirming that the hotel transfer service was available. By 3 PM that same day, they had already updated me with the driver’s details for my 6:30 AM pickup the next morning. Their customer service was truly outstanding! As for the tour itself, the guide on the bus was highly professional, humorous, and engaging. Once we arrived at the destinations, they provided excellent local insights and recommendations, making our journey even more enjoyable. This experience gave us an amazing and memorable trip!
