Excursão a Hallstatt saindo de Salzburgo

Hallstatt is a charming and picturesque village that feels almost like a postcard brought to life. We visited Hallstatt on a one day tour organised by this tour agency, travelling by bus from Salzburg and back on Christmas Eve. We arrived at around 10.15 am, and just as we stepped off the bus, it began to snow. The gentle snowfall created a magical atmosphere and provided a stunning backdrop to the beautiful streets and lakeside views. The village itself is small and serene, with a main street that is not very long, making it easy to explore on foot. Shops and stalls were just starting to open, adding to the calm and unhurried charm of the morning. As it was a day trip with limited time, we did not manage to visit the salt mine, and the Skywalk was closed during our visit. Instead, we chose to slow down and enjoy the moment by spending some time in a cosy café, soaking in the views and the peaceful winter ambience.

A very good package to cover Hallstatt at a high level. I wish there was enough flexibility to stay in Hallstatt for more time, so that we could properly enjoy the place, but nevertheless, the pricing is decent for the service.

Thanks to this, I was able to visit Hallstatt very comfortably. I wish I had a little more time, but it was so beautiful that 2 hours and 30 minutes felt very short. Thanks to the guide's detailed explanations and humor, along with the beautiful scenery outside the window, I was never bored during the entire trip~^^ If you plan to use this service, please note that you must exchange for a physical ticket, and it's better to go reasonably early as seats might not be available if you go late, forcing you to take the next bus.

Pünktliche Abfahrt. Der Bus war sauber. Die Tour war eigentlich hauptsächlich ein Hin- und Rücktransfer. Es ist viel bequemer, als wenn man selbst nach Hallstatt fährt. Der Reiseleiter gab auch einige Einführungen während der Fahrt.

Personally, I think 2.5 hours in Hallstatt was sufficient. Hallstatt is a small town, and that's enough time to walk around and go up to the viewpoint on a day with good weather, although the ticket is pricey. However, there won't be time for the salt mines. You'll also pass by the lovely lakes in the Lake District along the way.

I love how strictly they adhere to the departure time! This is truly wonderful, as not everyone enjoys waiting for those who don't show up on time and expect the whole world to wait for them! Wonderful guide and excellent time management 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. A very, very nice place, a bucket list destination for all who love natural scenery.

If you do not have time to plan the transportation, this tour is good. The only thing is the duration in Hallstatt is too short, it is around 2.5 hours.

The tour guide/driver was superb and recommended a lot of food spots in Salzburg as well. The only thing is the time in Hallstatt was too short for us.

I specifically traveled to Salzburg to use this product, and it was great to hear explanations covering everything from Salzburg itself to Hallstatt. I chose the morning departure product, and while one part of the description states an 8:15 AM departure and another states 8:50 AM, the 8:15 AM departure is the correct one. It would be good to note that you must exchange your ticket for a boarding pass to be able to board.

I was very impressed with this half-day tour. It's perfect for someone like me who has limited time. The journey was comfortable, taking only 1.5 hours for the round trip to Hallstatt from Salzburg. Additionally, there were many beautiful views along the way. The guide was also very knowledgeable. This tour allowed 2.5 hours to walk around the village, which I found to be sufficient for me.
