Excursão a Hallstatt saindo de Salzburgo

I was very impressed with this half-day tour. It's perfect for someone like me who has limited time. The journey was comfortable, taking only 1.5 hours for the round trip to Hallstatt from Salzburg. Additionally, there were many beautiful views along the way. The guide was also very knowledgeable. This tour allowed 2.5 hours to walk around the village, which I found to be sufficient for me.

Personally, I think 2.5 hours in Hallstatt was sufficient. Hallstatt is a small town, and that's enough time to walk around and go up to the viewpoint on a day with good weather, although the ticket is pricey. However, there won't be time for the salt mines. You'll also pass by the lovely lakes in the Lake District along the way.

Hallstatt is a charming and picturesque village that feels almost like a postcard brought to life. We visited Hallstatt on a one day tour organised by this tour agency, travelling by bus from Salzburg and back on Christmas Eve. We arrived at around 10.15 am, and just as we stepped off the bus, it began to snow. The gentle snowfall created a magical atmosphere and provided a stunning backdrop to the beautiful streets and lakeside views. The village itself is small and serene, with a main street that is not very long, making it easy to explore on foot. Shops and stalls were just starting to open, adding to the calm and unhurried charm of the morning. As it was a day trip with limited time, we did not manage to visit the salt mine, and the Skywalk was closed during our visit. Instead, we chose to slow down and enjoy the moment by spending some time in a cosy café, soaking in the views and the peaceful winter ambience.

Thanks to this, I was able to visit Hallstatt very comfortably. I wish I had a little more time, but it was so beautiful that 2 hours and 30 minutes felt very short. Thanks to the guide's detailed explanations and humor, along with the beautiful scenery outside the window, I was never bored during the entire trip~^^ If you plan to use this service, please note that you must exchange for a physical ticket, and it's better to go reasonably early as seats might not be available if you go late, forcing you to take the next bus.

We booked a tour with our child and had an extremely wonderful impression. Booking online was very convenient, and the meeting and departure times were punctual. Not only was Hallstatt town beautiful, but the scenery of the Alps and the lake district along the way was also very stunning. It was a perfect trip, five-star rating!

I have booked 2 tickets, very easy to find the starting point. We were the last ones to arrive but were on time. Although the bus was full by the time we got there, it had upper and lower decks. We got seats on the upper deck. There are no fixed seats; it's a first-come, first-served basis for your preferred seats. The bus started on time, and the guide was giving live commentary, explaining everything along the way. We arrived, and the village was truly a dream village. 2.5 hours there is enough time to walk around the village until the last point. We visited all the main attractions as suggested and also took beautiful photos. On the way back, we had a coffee near the bus stop. If you need to use the washroom, be prepared to pay 1 Euro, as it's chargeable in most places in Salzburg. The return journey was smooth. The driver was very professional. I would like to thank the tour guide, Recherd, who had good knowledge and excellent communication skills. On the way back, he had conversations with everyone on board. Overall, a must-visit.

The tourist guide was excellent, professional, and knowledgeable, engaging well with her guests throughout the trip. 2.5 hours in Hallstatt seemed short but was sufficient for a small coastal town with a 3km main street. The itinerary could be improved if it started later, at 9 or 10 am instead of 8:15 am, especially during autumn or winter, to allow for better photo opportunities later in the day with sun and blue sky.

We booked our trip to Hallstatt through Panorama Tours, and it was the best thing we did on our vacation. The ease of booking, the overall comfort of getting there, and the history behind the place were just awesome!

I specifically traveled to Salzburg to use this product, and it was great to hear explanations covering everything from Salzburg itself to Hallstatt. I chose the morning departure product, and while one part of the description states an 8:15 AM departure and another states 8:50 AM, the 8:15 AM departure is the correct one. It would be good to note that you must exchange your ticket for a boarding pass to be able to board.

The meeting point for the tour group was convenient, the uncle on the bus explained things humorously and in detail, and the driver drove steadily. Joining the tour was convenient as I didn't have to arrange my own transportation. If I had arranged my own transportation, I would have had to transfer buses three times, or if I took the train, I would have had to transfer once and then take a boat. The only drawback was that the free time was only two and a half hours. An extra hour and a half would have been more ideal.
