The tour guide, Melanie, was excellent—friendly, professional, and spoke very clear English throughout the tour. She gave us thorough introductions to all the sights and even in Munich and recommended great local restaurants and food spots nearby. We tried one of the recommended restaurants in Salzburg. Nice!! We also added the boat cruise as an extra, and it was absolutely worth it. The lake was calm and peaceful, so my boy had no seasickness at all. During the cruise, they played lovely music, including the theme from The Sound of Music—such a nice touch! Besides, the coach is new and clean. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.
Salzburg is beautiful, seeing birthplace of MoZart and where scenes of Sound of Music were filmed, just perhaps a bit too touristy with crowds galore on a Saturday. The Wolfgangsee Lake tour makes up the price of package - listening to songs of Sound of Music while you travel through the lake in 45 minutes.
The pick-up location is opposite the Boddy Hotel. Due to too many cars on that side on the day, the pick-up was changed to bus stop number 12 on the opposite side! There will be no pre-trip notification, so my friend and I arrived early to wait and ask where to board. The tour guide on the bus speaks English and will also provide a brief tour upon arrival in Salzburg. Remember to return to the bus at the designated meeting time. Since there are no boats in winter, we spent about four hours in Salzburg. The cable car ticket up the mountain is 14.5 euros per person, which we found to be well worth it!

Esta excursión de 11 horas merece la pena. La guía hace bien su trabajo, y los viajeros pueden comprar bebidas al conductor a un precio mucho más bajo en comparación con las tiendas de las zonas turísticas.
Salzburg ist wunderschön und ich fand, dass der Höhepunkt des Tages die Bootsfahrt auf dem Wolfgangsee war. Wir kamen gegen 10:45 Uhr in Salzburg an und es war ein etwas chaotischer Spaziergang durch die Mirabellgärten und dann in die Altstadt. Die Reiseroute auf Klook muss aktualisiert werden, da die Bootsfahrt jetzt 17 € kostet und es auch keinen Ausflug nach Mondsee gab, um die Kirche zu sehen, in der Maria geheiratet hat. Die Reiseroute besagte, dass wir tatsächlich dorthin fahren würden, aber wir fuhren nur mit dem Bus vorbei und bekamen nur einen sehr weit entfernten Blick auf die Kirche. Das war enttäuschend und Mondsee war einer der Gründe, warum ich die Tour gewählt habe. Unser Reiseleiter war nicht der Beste und teilte keine nützlichen Informationen mit. Er sprach nicht über das historische Hotel Sacher und die unbedingt zu probierende Sachertorte. Zum Glück hatten wir einen guten und sicheren Fahrer und die Orte, die wir besuchten, waren von Natur aus malerisch. Insgesamt wünschte ich, wir hätten uns für einen anderen Reiseanbieter entschieden, da dies nicht der Beste war. Ich war tatsächlich ziemlich enttäuscht.
The bus is modern and clean. The trip was a bit disorganized, but overall still acceptable. Salzburg is a nice place.
A very nice and relaxing tour. Salzburg is charming and the Lake District scenery is stunning. The tour guide was friendly and professional, making the trip comfortable and enjoyable. The whole experience was smooth and well organized. I really liked this tour and highly recommend it
