Coisas para fazer em Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding

The program was really well-structured and wonderful. I was excited from the morning just at the thought of seeing pandas, and our guide told us we were lucky—we even got to see a panda named Huahua and truly so many others. The panda base is quite large and a bit tiring, but the guide took great care of us, allowing us to have a wonderful time. Above all, thanks to our passionate and kind guide, the whole day's tour was happy. You're the absolute best, guide! 👍👍👍

We are a group of five senior friends traveling to Chengdu and Chongqing. Klook's travel designer, Charley, meticulously planned our itinerary, arranging everything according to our interests and capabilities, making the overall trip rich and comfortable. The local tour teams in both cities were also very professional. Every day, they provided advance weather forecasts, allowing us to prepare appropriate attire. Both drivers had excellent driving attitudes, being safe and attentive, providing us with several comfortable long-distance travel experiences. Thank you! The tour guides were also professional and meticulous. Nancy in Chengdu and Xiao K in Chongqing gave us in-depth introductions to the local culture, history, customs, and the unique attractions of each scenic spot, giving us a vivid sense of both cities' character and human history. Thank you again for your care! Overall, the Klook team was very thoughtful in all aspects. Their professional service and enthusiastic attitude brought us an unforgettable and joyful experience during our 9-day trip.

The tour guide was very thoughtful. Our accommodation was a bit far, outside the Third Ring Road, so they arranged for a driver to pick us up and take us to the meeting point in the morning. My husband and I, our three-year-old child, and our elderly parents went together, and children were free at all attractions. However, I must warn you that this itinerary involves a lot of walking, and it can be quite strenuous if you're not physically fit. Qingcheng Mountain in the morning was absolutely beautiful, truly deserving of its reputation as the 'most secluded mountain under heaven.' We kept walking and walking, and eventually, the elderly members stopped to rest near the summit, while we continued to the very top. After lunch, we proceeded to the Dujiangyan Irrigation System. This incredibly magnificent project was very enlightening, teaching us about the deeds of General Li Bing of the Qin State, and we greatly admired this general. The entire trip was engaging from start to finish. If you're physically capable, I highly recommend it!

I'd give it a 9 out of 10. Pros: 1. Tickets for Sanxingdui are hard to buy on your own, so joining a tour group saves a lot of hassle and it's definitely worth seeing. 2. The group was relatively small. Although the guide's sales pitch on the bus was a bit awkward, there was no pressure to spend. Cons: 1. Too little time spent seeing the pandas; only two hours, which felt rushed. 2. Don't join the tour specifically to see "Hua Hua": The guide immediately explained that the queue would be at least an hour and a half long, making it impossible to see her with the group. It would only be possible if you completely skipped all other pandas and focused solely on Hua Hua, and even then, you'd only get about three minutes. Summary: Overall, I'm satisfied and give it a 9. I recommend it for those whose main goal is Sanxingdui; just lower your expectations for the panda portion.

It was good that we arrived early in the morning, we still saw some pandas outside their dorms. They were not very active as it was too warm around noon when we left. The tour was awesome! Mark is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Worth the money and recommendation.
