Our driver and guide Eka came punctually to pick us from our hotel. The ride to Eastern Bali was quite long (more than 1 hour). Eventually we reached our host’s house where we were warmly welcomed with coffee and some cakes. We were shown how to grate coconut with traditional tools and the kids had a fun time squeezing the coconut milk by hand. While waiting for the milk to cook for oil extraction, Eka brought us around the family’s ancestral temple for a visit and explained in detail to us the cultural significance and practices of ancestor worshipping, etc. It was an eye-opening session and we learned a lot. We were then treated to delicious home-cooked lunch by the host. The visit to the salt farm was also very interesting. Pak Nyoman welcomed us and showed us how he harvests seawater to make salt. He enthusiastically took pictures with our kids. The only thing that I think needs slight improvement is probably the host covering the cakes with a net or something because there were quite a few flies.

Rajes is a wonderful person; he proactively recommended great restaurants, and the itinerary was very flexible. He tried his best to accommodate all requests. I pointed out a place I wanted to visit, and he immediately agreed to add it after checking the route. I was with my 65-year-old mother, and the snorkeling instructor was incredibly patient with her. I wanted to tip him, but the instructor quickly went to another boat. Today was a very happy day. We had an amazing snorkelling experience! The weather was perfect, the water was crystal clear, and we saw so much beautiful marine life. We even got to see a turtle—definitely our lucky day! The guides were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure everything ran smoothly and that everyone had a great time. A fun and memorable experience that we would highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ J'ai vécu une expérience incroyable avec Beno à Bali. Je voyageais seule, mais j'ai vraiment eu l'impression d'une visite privée – confortable, attentionnée et jamais précipitée. Beno m'a emmenée faire de la plongée avec tuba, puis m'a conduite à des cascades incroyables où les vues étaient absolument époustouflantes, et m'a également aidée à me sentir en confiance. Ce qui m'a vraiment touchée, c'est la façon dont il m'a traitée comme si je n'étais pas seule. Je me sentais très triste pendant la journée, mais Beno ne m'a jamais laissée me sentir seule – sa gentillesse et son attention à mon confort ont maintenu mon moral. Même quand je ne passais pas la meilleure journée, mon sourire ne s'est jamais effacé. Il m'a également recommandé un endroit pour mon tout premier tatouage, et tout m'a semblé digne de confiance et bien pris en charge. Si vous voulez un guide qui est non seulement compétent et professionnel, mais aussi sincèrement attentionné, je recommande vivement Beno. Merci encore d'avoir rendu mon voyage à Bali inoubliable.

Arrivati in anticipo, ci sono stati consegnati i giubbotti di salvataggio, abbiamo controllato le misure delle pinne e siamo partiti abbastanza velocemente dirigendoci verso la spiaggia per prendere la barca. 10 minuti di navigazione fino alla prima località, che non era molto affollata da altre barche di snorkelisti. La guida ci ha illustrato cosa fare e abbiamo trascorso 30 minuti seguendolo e osservando i coralli. Successivamente, 10 minuti di snorkeling in quella che credo sia la Laguna Blu, un'area molto più piccola e non così bella. Dopo il ritorno, c'erano delle strutture ma non le ho utilizzate.

Nice experience, recommend. As someone mentioned previously, don't expect too many corals in this area :( but there is plenty of fish to enjoy while you swim/snorkel. They kept their schedule and from the moment we stepped on the small boat to go towards the 1st spot and until going back to the land(2 spots total) it was just below 2 hours so everything went as planned.
