The itinerary was very fulfilling, and every attraction was beautiful. One part of the trip involved taking the Eizan Electric Railway to Kurama Station, which was a very special experience!

The overall trip was great. Our guide, Liu Du, gave brief historical introductions, and you could ask him any specific questions in both Chinese and English. It seems to snow at the observation deck in winter, so you might consider coming then. If it doesn't rain in summer, the scenery is also beautiful. I recommend it for those who enjoy taking photos.

Our tour guide, Roman Liu, was incredibly kind and helpful. He often took photos for us and recommended great spots for pictures. He managed the time very well, ensuring everyone in the group was on time for the bus. The timing was perfect, allowing us to visit four attractions in one day and take many beautiful photos at each location.

Full marks for Zhang Yanjin! This day trip to Kyoto's Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, Okochi Sanso Villa, Kifune Shrine, and Sanzen-in Temple was an absolutely fulfilling and healing experience, completely stress-free from start to finish. The various attractions are quite far apart, and public transport transfers would have been particularly cumbersome. Thanks to Yanjin's excellent pre-planning of the optimal route, time management was perfect – no rushing, no wasted waiting, and ample time at each spot for photos and leisurely exploration. At Sanzen-in Temple, he meticulously explained its history and guided us to admire the moss-covered stone Buddha statues and garden scenery. At Kifune Shrine, he taught us how to experience the unique water fortune-telling and showed us the best spots for photos of the vermilion staircase lanterns. In the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove and Okochi Sanso Villa, he led us away from the crowds to find quiet, picturesque corners, and even shared tips on local hidden culinary gems and how to avoid tourist traps. He is incredibly gentle and patient, meticulously answering any questions we had about routes, photography, or shopping. He drives smoothly and carefully, taking thoughtful care of everyone in our group throughout the journey, with no rushing or hidden costs. In one day, we connected ancient temples in the mountains with secret bamboo groves, enjoying a relaxed and comfortable itinerary without needing to plan anything ourselves. If you want a stress-free trip to Kyoto, I highly recommend Zhang Yanjin. I'll definitely seek him out again for my next Kansai trip!

This one-day tour was excellent and very comfortable throughout. Our guide, Peter, was very helpful in solving problems. The only downside was the bad weather, which obscured the views. It was very convenient to be able to take large luggage from Kyoto onto the bus and get off in Osaka, saving us the trouble of moving luggage and transferring transport.

It was a wonderful small group tour. Our guide, Ai, was meticulous in her arrangements and managed the time perfectly. The whole trip was very smooth. At Sanzen-in Temple, she even considered everyone's lunch time, giving us an extra 10 minutes to stay, allowing everyone to leisurely experience Kyoto in the height of summer.

Ellen was fantastic. Communication was superb, which is very important to me. She did a fantastic job, and with all of her communication, everyone got back to the bus on time, especially with her directions for each stop. She is probably the best tour guide I have had. She is the best.

Need a kitchen knife? Make your own. This is it! As a family of 5, it was well worth it to learn an aspect of culture and have your kids participate. This particular business is tailored to your group, so there is no large corporate awkwardness. As a small business, they are able to assist you one-on-one, as necessary. Learn to make a knife: heating, pounding to shape, grinding, and sharpening; all in one. I'm from the US and have toured a lot of places... this one is fun, enjoyable, and most everyone can get something out of this experience.
