Coisas para fazer em Fu Fu No Yu Onsen

The open-air bath was wonderful! The resting areas within the facility were also very well-equipped, so I was able to relax comfortably on the last day of my trip. However, one small regret was that most of the hot spring users were local seniors, and it was a bit disappointing to hear some tourists talking loudly, echoing throughout the bath. While it's natural for families to converse, it would be great if tourists like us could be a little more mindful.

Walking from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, luckily the weather in April wasn't too hot, and there was a pleasant breeze the whole way. The onsen had two attendants, one male and one female. Although I don't speak Japanese, I understood what they were saying, so communication was not difficult.

We really enjoyed the whole tour. The meet-up place was easy to find and our guide, William, was very approachable and polite. We also loved the Kobe Wagyu lunch. Just a tip: bring a small bottle of liquid soap because most of the toilets don't have soap. For Swan Lake, you can feed ducks, swans, or carp if you don't like to ride the swan boat. Feeds are ¥100.

I applied for a tour exclusively for Koreans, but to my surprise, a Chinese guide who couldn't speak a word of English or Korean was assigned. However, they used a phone translation app and worked so incredibly hard that I had a very comfortable and enjoyable trip. The tour included a hot spring, and it was much better than I expected. Most people went to the outlet mall, so the hot spring was uncrowded and very, very nice. We arrived at the outlet at 10 AM, and since the hot spring opened at 10:30 AM, I also got to shop at the outlet for 30 minutes.

The tour was great, just enough time at each location and no wasted time. Enough time to enjoy Mt. Fuji and get a lot of pictures. The schedule is full so it's not a "leisure" excursion. It's more to see each spot, take a couple pics, look at the mountain and move on. Guide did a great job!

Everything was incredible: the service, the experience, the kindness. Haruka, our host, was the best; she took beautiful photos of us and explained everything we asked about.

It's convenient to travel by JR train or bus. There are many interesting activities at each spot inside, with street performances at intervals. There are several photo zones. Overall, I was impressed with the place, and booking through Klook allowed me to scan the QR code for entry directly, without having to exchange tickets at the counter again.
