Affordable Onsen experience within walking distance of train station. A lot of locals frequent this location. it’s right near the Togetsu-Kyo bridge. nice view of the water way. The massage chairs really hit the spots too.

It was our first time at an onsen with children, and we felt very comfortable there. Everything is explained in English, and you are informed about everything upon a warm welcome. You can keep the small towel as a souvenir. We would love to come back on our next vacation.

The Fu fu no yu hot springs and the piglet cafe are by far the best part of the trip so far. One of the few places where the staff spoke quite a bit of English, the facilities were impeccable, and there was absolute peace. **IMPORTANT** There is no guide or assistance for using the hot springs; watch videos and read the signs inside, or follow the lead of a local when entering.

This is the most convenient onsen to go while visiting Arashiyama. It provides a nice, warm soak during winter.

It was my first time to try onsen. it was super hot 🥵but I managed to submerge myself. It was relaxing, I was sleepy afterwards. The facility was complete with everything you’ll need. The staff were all nice. There’s a resting area where you can eat or drink afterwards. 💯

There's a bus that goes to the city center, and it's about a 3-minute walk from there. Just show your voucher to the staff to register. The overall environment is comfortable, with hot springs and a sauna. Afterwards, you can relax in the lounge before leaving, which is very comfortable. If you're in Arashiyama, you must try it; highly recommended!

Great experience! There is a good mix of tourists and locals, but it doesn't spoil the experience! Relaxing in the lounge and having a milk from the vending machine is highly recommended!

It was an amazing experience I had, this is my first onsen experience of its kind and it was superb. Thank you Klook for suggesting such an experience to me. This service was incredibly worthwhile, especially for this trip where I visited the Arashiyama area of Kyoto from morning till night in November, as winter was approaching. We experienced cold weather all day and got caught in the rain in the early evening, leaving our clothes and bodies wet and cold. Being able to come and soak in the onsen in that condition was truly wonderful. It helped us relax, feel comfortable, and became one of the best memories of this Kyoto trip.

I really wanted to try a hot spring, so I went to Fufunoyu Onsen, and it is one of my most memorable experiences from the trip. I went around sunset when there weren't many people. Sitting in the outdoor open-air bath, and when it got a bit warm, sitting on the bench next to it to look at the sky and feel the cool breeze felt amazing. The pink sky was beautiful, and the breeze was just pleasantly cool. I thought the water temperature was a bit hot, but it actually felt like it relieved my fatigue even better. I drank bottled milk on the way out, and the flavored milk was delicious! I booked a package that included a towel rental fee, but they gave me a thin towel for my head for free, so I was able to lightly dry off without needing the rental. It's great to visit the Togetsukyo Bridge right next door to take a walk, ride a boat, drink the famous Kyoto latte, and then head to the onsen!
