Quioto: Bilhete do Funicular Eizan

This is definitely worth doing and visiting the garden museum before going down to the second cable car line. There's an empty observation deck where there was absolutely no one and 360 views was beautiful and amazing.

What an unexpected gem! I unexpectedly signed up for this while in Kyoto. I tried to navigate the busy system, but ultimately ended up taking a taxi to the base station. Once there, it was easy to navigate. The station staff were wonderfully kind and welcoming. The views to the top were exceptional. At the top, I explored the Garden Museum Hiei (highly recommend). There was a wonderful cafe with the most exceptional view at the top, and an observation tower. There was also a museum shop that has activies had I come earlier in the day. It was a nice relaxing excursion amongst the hustle of the cities. Highly recommend.

The view 10/10... worth visiting... not so crowded but the mountain was beautiful... there was a flower garden at the top with a 1,200 or 1,500 yen entrance fee, I forgot... there's a lot of art collection there...

absolutely fantastic experience. I went late April and it was perfect to see the spring bloom. ride was fairly quick, clean and comfortable. lots of sightseeing and space to walk around. I went around 11am and there were not a lot of people. I highly recommend buying a ticket for the garden while you are up there. really great atmosphere and neat art to check out. ended up getting a coffee and some goodies at the gift shop. great for a solo traveler as there were not a lot of tourists and it was very serene.

The Eizan Cable Car experience was beautiful. In early December, we got an amazing combination of autumn leaves and light winter snowfall. Even better, we saved money on return tickets by booking with Klook!
