Bringing kids? This Nara day tour was truly the best decision of our Osaka trip, highly recommended! First, our guide Tina was incredibly kind and meticulous. The night before departure, she proactively contacted us to confirm the meeting time and location, and even reminded us of small details to pay attention to when traveling with children. We felt at ease even before the trip began. On the day of the tour, Tina was patient throughout, actively offering to take family photos for us without us even having to ask. Her photos were truly high-quality, unlike those taken by strangers. Looking back at them, every picture is full of cherished memories. Along the way, Tina enthusiastically recommended a fantastic and affordable kimono rental shop. They had a wide selection of new and stylish kimonos, with suitable sizes for children too, making them look super cute! At lunchtime, she suggested several authentic local restaurants, saving us the hassle of searching online. Every place she recommended was excellent, allowing us to dine comfortably with our children and avoiding a lot of stress. For families with children, the biggest plus of this tour was its incredible convenience! Strollers could be kept on the tour bus the entire time, completely eliminating the need to push them on and off public transport or switch between trains and buses. This saved us a tremendous amount of energy and time. We had initially worried about the difficulties of taking public transport with kids, but instead, we traveled comfortably by bus directly to each attraction. Both adults and children were comfortable, and the kids didn't get overtired and fussy. The itinerary planning also deserves special praise. We were fortunate not to have chosen the Arashiyama Scenic Railway, as that would have made the schedule very rushed. The guide's arrangements allowed us to enjoy lunch at a leisurely pace, then stroll and explore Arashiyama comfortably, taking our time to snap photos and browse the shops without feeling rushed. We truly experienced the relaxed atmosphere of Arashiyama. The pace for Fushimi Inari and Nara was also perfectly managed. The children were incredibly excited to see the deer at Nara Park, and everyone, young and old, had a comfortable and enjoyable time. In summary, this one-day tour allowed us to explore Fushimi Inari, Nara, and Arashiyama in the most relaxed way possible, saving all the travel time and having a thoughtful guide caring for us throughout. The itinerary was great, we were able to go to the deer park before the peak of visitors arrive. The flow was great also. We were in Arashiyama at lunch time which allows us to try the local cafés and restaurants there. Tori gates at sunset was a delight! But the highlight for me is how attentive our guide Valerie is to each and everyone of us, imagine a full tour bus and she would constantly check on us one by one to make sure we are comfortable and have everything we need. More than that, she would even connect with you personally to check your preference and would go the extra mile to help you if you have specific requests.

The tour went very smoothly, and our tour guide, Eiichi, was very helpful and spoke English well. He explained everything clearly about the places we visited and shared interesting history about Nara and Kyoto. His knowledge and friendly attitude made the tour even more enjoyable. Eiichi also gave us enough time to explore the places we were most interested in and ensured that everyone knew where to meet the bus afterward. I highly recommend downloading WhatsApp before joining the tour, as the group uses it to share updates and locations, which is very helpful if you get lost or separated from the group. I would highly recommend this tour to my friends and loved ones. It was a wonderful experience and definitely worth it!

I had a wonderful day trip from Osaka to Kyoto and Nara. The itinerary was well planned and allowed us to visit some of Japan's most iconic attractions, including Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, Fushimi Inari Taisha, and Nara Deer Park. Arashiyama was beautiful and peaceful, with its famous bamboo grove creating a unique and memorable atmosphere. Fushimi Inari Taisha was equally impressive, with thousands of red torii gates stretching along the mountain paths. The visit to Nara Deer Park was a highlight of the trip, where we had the opportunity to interact with the friendly deer. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist throughout the day, especially taking my picture. We had the most beautiful day exploring Kyoto and Nara, and honestly, a big part of that was because of Saki. She wasn’t just a guide, she made the entire experience feel effortless and personal. From Arashiyama’s bamboo forest to the calm at Togetsukyo Bridge, she knew exactly where to take us, when to move, and how to avoid the crowds — which makes a huge difference. What stood out most was her warmth. Always smiling, patient, and genuinely caring. She explained the culture, little stories, and even helped us capture some of our best moments without it ever feeling forced. Nara Park with the deer, Fushimi Inari’s endless torii gates… everything felt more meaningful because of how she guided us through it. If you’re doing this trip, ask for Saki. She doesn’t just show you places — she makes you feel them. Quietly one of the best guides we’ve had anywhere in the world.

We had such a great day on this tour! It was a perfect way to see so many beautiful places around Kyoto and Nara in one day without having to worry about transportation or planning everything ourselves. The itinerary was well organized, and we really enjoyed every stop, especially Nara, Fushimi Inari, and Arashiyama. A special mention has to go to our guide, Frederick, who made the whole experience even better. He was extremely funny, friendly, energetic, and kept us entertained throughout the day. He explained everything clearly, gave us useful information and recommendations, and created a really fun and relaxed atmosphere for the whole group. We had enough time to enjoy the different locations, take photos, walk around, and experience each place. Overall, it was a really enjoyable and memorable day and definitely one of the highlights of our time in Kyoto. This tour was worth it! Our guide is Willa and with her coworker Samuel. Willa updated our group chat with helpful links as well as constant updates while on the tour. She also taught us helpful info on how to interact with the deers. Samuel was translating for the other guests and recommended places for us to eat in Japan. The departure times were also followed consistently which I appreciated very much. Would highly recommend this tour if you want a convenient and organized trip.

We had a fantastic time on the Kyoto Arashiyama, Fushimi Inari, and Nara Deer Day Tour! The itinerary was wonderful. Exploring the serene Arashiyama area, walking through the famous orange torii gates at Fushimi Inari, and visiting Nara Deer Park were all highlights of our trip. Seeing and interacting with the deer at Nara Park was absolute fun! Our guide, Theodore, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the entire day. Visiting these iconic sites on a hot day could have been exhausting, but the tour bus was clean, comfortable, and had great air conditioning to keep us cool between stops. Theodore made sure everyone stayed refreshed by handing out cooling wipes, and having cheap cold water available for purchase right on the bus was a thoughtful touch. It was a very enjoyable experience overall, and I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kyoto!
