This pass is very cost-effective if planned well. It's an online pass, and I chose the 2-day option. It should be activated on the day you plan to travel and allows unlimited rides on all Metro lines. On the first day, I walked to Umeda Sky Building. It's best to go in the morning when there are fewer people. Take the elevator to the 39th-40th floor to enjoy the view. I also planned to visit the museum, but it was closed on Tuesday, so I took the train to Osaka Castle. You can use the QR code to enter and explore all floors of the museum inside the castle. After walking around the right side of the castle to the bridge on the left, you'll see the Osaka-Jo Gozabune Boat pier. You can take a free boat ride around the castle by exchanging your QR code for a ticket. Nearby, there's also a sightseeing train around the castle, but it costs money (seniors pay 200 yen). On the second day, I went up Tsutenkaku Tower to pay respects to Billiken, but I didn't dare try the slide. Then I walked to Tennoji Zoo, which is nearby, and visited Shitennoji Temple. You can climb the spiral staircase to the top floor by showing your QR code to the staff. In the late afternoon, I went to Osaka Bay. Next to the Kaiyukan Aquarium building, there's a sign for Santa Maria. Go inside and walk straight down the stairs. You can then queue for the boat, where staff will scan your QR code. Enjoy the scenic ride around the bay. Afterward, I went on the Tempozan Giant Ferris Wheel, using the QR code to exchange for a free ticket to enjoy the night view.

The Amazing Osaka Pass is definitely worth it and offers incredible value for money. We were able to visit Osaka Castle, enjoy the boat cruise around the castle, go up to the Umeda Sky Building for amazing city views, and take the Dotonbori River Cruise—all included with the pass. One of the best perks is the unlimited use of participating buses and trains, which made getting around Osaka easy and saved us both time and money. If you’re planning to visit several attractions in a day, I highly recommend getting the Amazing Osaka Pass. It helped us maximize our trip while keeping transportation and entrance costs low.

It was incredibly well-used. I rode the subway and bus to my heart's content for two days while traveling. In one day, I used this pass for Osaka Castle, the Santa Maria Cruise, the Tempozan Ferris Wheel, and Tsutenkaku, and I was extremely satisfied. If you're planning a packed day of sightseeing, the 1-day pass should be sufficient. And personally, although it's not included in this pass, Harukas 300 is a must-visit at night. It's truly moving. I also highly recommend the Santa Maria cruise. Make sure to ride at the very front of the boat. Oh, and I don't recommend Osaka Castle. It's fine to take photos with the building from the outside, but the interior is a museum full of Japanese history and war stories, and since I didn't know anything about it, it wasn't interesting, didn't catch my eye, and was nothing special. My legs just hurt too much.

After getting off at JR Osaka Castle Park, it takes 20 minutes to walk to the main castle of Osaka Castle. You must take the Gozabune boat, where you can take beautiful pictures of Osaka Castle. I recommend three activities at Tsutenkaku, all of which are very fun: the slide, the sky walk, and the free fall. They are very exciting but safe, as you are tied with steel cables. Legoland is also very fun, but it's more suitable for elementary school students. The Amazing Pass does not include Kaiyukan Aquarium, but it does include the Captain Line ferry round trip from Universal Studios to Tempozan. I recommend paying extra to visit Kaiyukan Aquarium; the fish are beautiful, and there are fewer crowds when it first opens. However, it can get noisy if you encounter elementary school field trips, LOL. Drinking a beverage and enjoying the scenery on the Santa Maria is very pleasant, and the Ferris wheel has air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about turning into a烤箱 (oven). Remember to book your time slot and seats in advance for the Dotonbori cruise, as all tickets are usually sold out by around 7 PM on site.

I purchased the Osaka Amazing Pass which did not disappoint. In fact, the pass has so many activities that you can select from, you will not have enough time to see them all. You need to do some research and prepare in order to incorporate this into your itinerary so as not to waste time just running around. I purchased the 2-day pass and selected the attractions that would give me the best value. For the Osaka Castle, the boat tour is included with the pass. My advice is to go early in the morning to stand in line at the ticket booth as these boats are small and the early slots fill up fast once the tourists start coming in. Otherwise, you might get a late reservation and will have to come back, wasting time. If you arrive early, tour the castle before or after standing in line. I went on the Dotonbori River Cruise. It's expensive if you do not have the pass and just pay for a ticket. Umeda Sky Building 40th-floor Kuchu Teien Observatory offers 360-degree open-air views. Awesome, well worth it.

I made excellent use of the Osaka Amazing Pass during my trip to Osaka this time😊. I traveled comfortably by train and visited Osaka Castle, Umeda Sky Building Kuchu Teien Observatory, Tsutenkaku, and even took the Wonder Cruise in the evening, all in one day, which was very satisfying👍. Since it was my first time in Osaka, I was a bit worried about the subway and getting around, but thanks to the Amazing Pass, passing through ticket gates was easy, and I didn't have to buy tickets every time I moved, which made it much smoother than I expected. The night view from the Dotonbori Wonder Cruise was truly wonderful, and with good weather at Kuchu Teien and Osaka Castle, my photos turned out great.

Excellent value. It covers Metro, Bus, and Train fares within the network, excluding JR, and also provides free entry to several tourist attractions. However, you need to manage your time well. It's advisable to study the routes for transfers and plan carefully. On a 1-day pass, I maximized its use by taking the bus and metro to Osaka Castle, visiting the Shogun boat, entering the castle, and in the afternoon, going to Tempozan Ferris Wheel and the Santa Maria cruise. I believe it was more than worth it. For travel, you can simply scan the QR code at the entrance/exit to use various transportation.
