Miyako District Snorkeling

After failing to find the turtles and Nemo on our own, we quickly searched and booked this tour. It was the top wish for this trip, as my child really wanted to see sea turtles and Nemo. The guide spoke English, so communication was easy while snorkeling. Since both I and my child are very timid, I was worried from the start, but I appreciated that safety was their top priority. We were grouped with a Japanese family and a solo male traveler, and our companions were very kind and great. And finally, we saw Nemo and sea turtles! We got super lucky 😍 We created wonderful memories as a family of three, and we are so grateful to our leader, Ken, for taking such good care of us! Thank you so much Ken! 😄😄

A family of three, including a 7-year-old child, applied for the tour. We traveled individually to the meeting point, and our guide, Ten-san, called us around our arrival time to give us directions, so we had no trouble finding the place. It was a tour with a child who was not a strong swimmer, and we were very worried because there was a sudden storm on the day of the tour, with strong waves. However, Ten-san explained everything in detail, from wearing the equipment to safety rules, using English and simple Korean, which put us greatly at ease. We met three turtles at the turtle point and took photos. Even with the storm and waves, they took wonderful photos from great angles. We couldn't go to the Nemo point because the child felt seasick and wanted to leave. Instead, they shared beautiful photos with us! Ten-san led us to the exit point, so we got out safely. There was another team with us, so we had to travel a bit of a long distance back and forth, but we were grateful for their kind guidance. After the tour, it was great that they immediately sent us the photos via AirDrop. The after-service was perfect, even sending recommendations for restaurants and tourist spots via KakaoTalk. The weather was a bit disappointing, but thanks to this, it was a tour that created unforgettable memories for a lifetime! I highly recommend it. This tour is excellent. Our tour guide, Nazar, provided detailed explanations and paid great attention to every detail throughout the trip. Highly recommended! We also highly recommend participating in this activity; the photos taken are very clear, and the coach is very nice and meticulous.

We booked the sea turtle snorkeling and canoeing experience! Momo-san guided us for the sea turtle snorkeling, and Julia-san took care of the canoeing! Both of them are friendly beauties, and it was an amazing experience!! 💃✨ I was a bit troubled because the car park requires a 1,000-yen bill to enter, but they kindly held onto our luggage for us! For the snorkeling, they even had an AED ready, and for those who are nervous about swimming, they can be pulled along by a red float, so it's very reassuring ◎ They carefully check on your physical condition and take plenty of photos at each spot, making it perfect for creating memories 📷 We first got used to it in the shallow water before heading out to the deeper areas. I heard that even when it's sunny, you might not always see sea turtles, but this time it was sunny and we got to swim right alongside them—super lucky ✌️ At the end, they had prepared a large amount of fresh water for us, which was a huge lifesaver since we were covered in saltwater! After taking a lunch break, everyone doing canoeing and SUP gathered together. A couple from Taiwan had joined us, but since Julia-san, who speaks four languages, was in charge, communication went extremely smoothly 😆 She taught us how to paddle both canoes and SUPs in an easy-to-understand way, and everyone enjoyed themselves to the fullest ◎ She took videos here as well, taught us some trivia about the rocks, and her energetic personality made Julia-san simply the best 🤩 We were so lucky to meet her, especially since this was her last day at work for the season!!! Overall, it was great. Most of the equipment is available for free rental, so you can come empty-handed and just enjoy. The instructor was kind and worked hard to take beautiful photos. The safety briefing before departure was also thorough. We were lucky this time with great weather, and we spotted four sea turtles while snorkeling. We were able to swim with them, and we are extremely satisfied. It was also very helpful that the child who couldn't snorkel was able to ride along on a pre-prepared floatie and join the departure. One area for improvement: participants would feel much more at ease if the skills of each member were sufficiently checked during practice before heading out to deep areas (deeper than one's height). Even with a life jacket on, going straight into deep water can be a bit scary for beginners. Thank you for a wonderful day tour, instructors Takuro and Soma!

Snorkeling was an amazing experience, seeing sea turtles up close! The stalactite cave was a mystical place. We were very satisfied that we could enjoy all the main activities at once. All the staff were bright and kind! Thank you to the gyaru sisters and the handsome brothers!!

I highly recommend Instructor Yusho! Today was truly touching! Although we saw super cute clownfish in the morning, we didn't see any sea turtles. We were afraid the instructor would be too tired and didn't want to push it, but unexpectedly, after Yusho-san finished guiding all the tourists at 5 PM, he was still willing to specially take us out to sea to find sea turtles! The moment we saw the sea turtles, we were incredibly happy, and the photos the instructor took were unbelievably beautiful 😭😭 (truly!). The instructor is professional, thoughtful, and dedicated. Next time we come to Miyakojima, we will definitely find him again! Friends from Taiwan, you can't go wrong with Instructor Yusho! Yusho-san, thank you for the best experience! The clownfish in the morning were cute, but what touched me most was Yusho-san's hospitality. Even though he must have been tired after guiding many customers until 5 PM, he specially took us to the sea to look for sea turtles. Thanks to him, we were able to see the long-awaited sea turtles, and he took many wonderful photos for us, which made us truly happy 😭😭. If you come to Miyakojima, I wholeheartedly recommend Yusho-san! I will definitely come to see you again! Highly recommend Instructor Yusho! We had an unforgettable day. Although we saw cute clownfish in the morning, we missed the turtles. We didn't want to push it because we knew Yusho had been busy all day, but he incredibly offered to take us out again at 5 PM just to find them! Seeing the turtles was a dream come true, and the photos he took are absolutely stunning😭😭. Yusho is professional, dedicated, and so kind. If you’re visiting Miyakojima, he is the best! Can’t wait to come back!
