Miyakojima: Excursão de meio dia de espeleologia e caiaque no mar (Okinawa)

Pros: Adoramos nosso passeio pela Caverna da Abóbora. Pular da abóbora na água foi divertido! Andar de caiaque foi agradável. Contras: Não pudemos levar nossa câmera e tivemos que depender das fotos que eles tiraram para nós. Infelizmente, as fotos deles não são super boas, algumas ficaram razoáveis, mas a maioria estava granulada. Estava lotado. Grupo após grupo entrava na caverna da abóbora.

Our guide, Takurou, was incredibly kind and took so many photos for us. Even though the sun was hot, he took about 30 pictures per team, which was very touching. This was my first time experiencing a cave tour like this, and it's on a completely different level from any other tours I've done. It's a memory I'll cherish for a lifetime, so I highly recommend trying it while you're healthy! Strongly recommended.

We saw that the next day was going to be sunny and decided to book this experience. Our group was led by Masutani Ryoma-san and Yuuri-san. They are amazing, super fun team and very knowledgeable. The entry to the pumpkin cave is a leisurely kayak. The cave itself was so amazing, and the guides shared so many interesting facts about this holy site. There's some climbing inside the cave, but we felt safe the whole time. It was such an enjoyable experience and we recommend anyone visiting Miyako to try it. Fuka, our tour guide, was very professional, and there were absolutely no issues with English communication; her slight British accent was lovely to listen to 😂. We participated in the Pumpkin Cave + Canoe half-day tour. At 6 PM, due to rough seas, yesterday's SUP was changed to today's Sunset SUP. There were a total of 9 tourists at Pumpkin Cave, and the water temperature felt like about 26 degrees Celsius. It was very beautiful inside, and I heard it will be closed for maintenance soon. At the end, we jumped 2 meters down from the top of the pumpkin, which was fun 😂. In the evening, thanks to Fuka's support, we were able to go, as there wasn't originally a group participating; it was just the two of us, essentially having the entire area to ourselves, so we could paddle however we liked 😍. Fuka took many beautiful photos for us throughout the trip. She was very willing to chat and also gave us a lot of space. The most comfortable part was feeling safe while still feeling very free.

I was worried about the tour being conducted only in Japanese because I have three young children, but Ryoma spoke in English, which was wonderful. He also used some Korean words he learned from Korean customers, making the tour atmosphere even more enjoyable. Thank you so much for playing so well with my youngest son. It was lucky that the last cave experience was available. Thank you.

Fuka, our guide, made our tour so much fun and safe! She explained everything in a really easy-to-understand way, and even switched to simple English when our Japanese wasn't great, which made it even more enjoyable and informative. Thank you so much, Fuka!!!

It was a truly memorable experience! The cave was magnificent, and the activities were thrilling and fun. Although there was no Korean guide, I booked this tour because I really wanted to explore the cave. Luckily, we were among the last tourists, they said. They mentioned that next year, due to changes in the law, tours might be difficult, so I felt we booked at a nice time. Yuri-san, our guide, was very kind and explained everything well in English. Thank you for your hard work! It was a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience, and an unforgettable memory for my child too. Thank you!

I originally thought the weather was bad, and it was raining heavily in the morning, so the trip might be canceled. However, our responsible guide, Fu-chan, told us the tour would proceed as planned. Miraculously, the clouds gradually cleared after we set off. Even though she's a woman, she was very dedicated and incredibly strong, able to pull all of us up. She's truly amazing! The cave entrance was very small, and the scenery inside was magical. It was a very novel experience.

I highly recommend anyone visiting Miyakojima to explore Pumpkin Cave! We were assigned to Coach SOMA, who communicated in English and enthusiastically helped us take photos and introduced attractions along the way. Pumpkin Cave itself is very cool and definitely worth it! On the way back, we even encountered a shark 🦈! We were so lucky~~~

The tour was a little bit crowded so pictures with the pumpkin were limited. Nevertheless it was a
