Ilha de Miyako: Explorando a selva sob as estrelas e à noite

The tour was great! Our guide, Ten, was on time for pickup. Ten was very friendly and explained everything very well :) We had the chance to see a scorpion and a snake, which is rare! But also a big coconut crab and giant spiders 😆

Coach: We are very grateful to Coach Mami for traveling so far to pick us up for our night observation and stargazing tour. Because a typhoon had just passed, even though Coach Mami tried her best to go deep into the jungle to find coconut crabs for us to see, she couldn't find any after several attempts. Although she did find some the next night, our whole family is still very thankful for Mami's extremely dedicated and professional spirit! She helped us find many hermit crabs, stick insects, butterflies, orb-weaver spiders, Miyako toads, and many unknown nocturnal insects, and we even encountered a small snake in a tree! During the trip, she also allowed us to see a sky full of stars, with the Summer Triangle and the Milky Way all very clear! She even took a family photo for us with the starry sky as the background! We are truly grateful to Mami, and if we have the chance to come to Miyako Island again, we will definitely ask her to be our exclusive coach!

I went on the Starlight Tour with high expectations, and it was even better than I imagined! The pickup and drop-off service was convenient because I didn't have to drive on dark roads. 😁 I thought I wouldn't be able to see coconut crabs, but Guide TEN searched deep into the forest and found two for us. Guide TEN was humorous and explained everything so well that everyone in our group said they'd want to do all their activities with Guide TEN next time, from snorkeling to jungle tours. 🤭 This kind of tour really depends on the guide, so I hope others also get to meet Guide TEN. 😀

Even though it was a rainy day, we found many animals like coconut crabs, toads, and hermit crabs, thanks to our guide, Ten. He searched everywhere to find coconut crabs for us. He explained everything twice for both Japanese and foreign groups. We were very satisfied with the experience and want to visit again when it's not cloudy so we can see the starry night.

Experience: An excellent tour! Throughout the activity, our guide, Teacher TEN, led the group to discover creatures we wouldn't normally see, such as coconut crabs, hermit crabs, spiders, and even a cicada under a gazebo chair that had just shed its skin – truly fascinating! If I get the chance to visit Miyakojima again, I will definitely bring my friends and family to join this tour. Guide: Teacher TEN was very responsible and continuously tried his best to show the group more wildlife. Location: Seaside Ecological Park. Equipment: Headlamps for illumination were provided, along with thoughtful mosquito repellent. Safety: Even with light rain today, Teacher TEN constantly monitored the group's safety, concerned about slippery paths.

I usually enjoy observing nature, so I went and had a great time. It was fun discovering creatures by the light of a lantern, and walking together on the dark mountain path felt like an adventure. The path is well-maintained, so it's not dangerous. They said we might not see coconut crabs because of the bad weather, but we saw three of them in various sizes! Our guide, TEN, enthusiastically went into the jungle, found various things, and explained them, so there was never a dull moment. Good!! TEN, you're still using "It's slippery. Be careful," right?? LOL. It was rainy and cloudy, so we couldn't see the stars, but if the weather had been good, it seemed like a place where the stars would look fantastic. I want to go again on a nice day. It's well worth investing your time in the jungle night tour, even for a short period during the evening. Highly recommended!!

Es war wirklich ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Alles war gut organisiert, sodass wir vollständig in die Magie der Insel bei Nacht eintauchen konnten. Eine besondere Erwähnung verdient unser Guide, Ten, dessen Professionalität und Herzlichkeit die gesamte Tour aufwerteten. Er war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und sorgte dafür, dass sich jeder während der gesamten Reise sicher und wohl fühlte. Seine Fähigkeit, alles klar in Japanisch und Englisch zu erklären, machte das Erlebnis für alle Teilnehmer zugänglich und fesselnd. Was diese Tour auszeichnete, war nicht nur die Möglichkeit, den Dschungel zu erkunden und faszinierende Wildtiere zu treffen, sondern auch die Tiefe des Wissens, das Ten teilte. Er gab aufschlussreiche Erklärungen über die Tiere und ihre Lebensräume sowie praktische Überlebenstipps, die eine zusätzliche Ebene von Faszination und Authentizität hinzufügten. Insgesamt war diese Tour sowohl bereichernd als auch durchweg angenehm. Ich würde sie jedem wärmstens empfehlen, der ein einzigartiges und unvergessliches Abenteuer sucht.

Experience: Upon arriving in Miyako, we spontaneously decided to go on a night exploration, ensuring our evening wouldn't be boring. The result was an incredibly astonishing experience! We stumbled upon a grand gathering of coconut crabs on the island, encountering these precious creatures on rocks, trees, and even the walking paths! There were also many other magical and wild small animals: adorable frogs, hermit crabs, stick insects, and butterflies sleeping at night! The children had an absolutely fantastic time! Location: This is crucial because it's difficult to get a taxi at night, and this company offers hotel pick-up and drop-off service!!! This saved us a lot of time and effort!!! Guide: We met TAKU, who provided patient and detailed explanations in English throughout the tour. The English wasn't too difficult, so don't hesitate to go for it! He was incredibly patient with the children! So much so that when I went to book a snorkeling tour the next day and saw TAKU was also a guide, I immediately booked without hesitation! An excellent guide makes a trip easy and enjoyable! TAKU is very conscientious and responsible, and he has WeChat contact information so you can communicate with him and he can send you travel photos. After booking, email them to let them know you need WeChat contact, and they will contact you later. No need to rush. (Because I booked on the same day, and WhatsApp wasn't accessible, I was worried about not being able to get in touch. Later, Klook's customer service also helped me follow up, and we quickly connected on WeChat.) Equipment: For the night exploration, they provide mosquito repellent and headlamps, so you don't need to bring anything yourself, just a bottle of water, as you'll get thirsty from walking. Shorts and short sleeves are fine; there's no danger.

A unique experience with Mashi! He patiently answered our questions and ensured we were all safe. We managed to see the stars, find a frog, hermit crab and coconut crab!

Thanks to our guide Aki, it was a truly comfortable and enjoyable trip! 😊 From the pickup, she took meticulous care of us, making the journey very comfortable. She also spoke simple Korean occasionally, which made the tour feel even more friendly and relaxed. She shared a lot of knowledge and interesting information that I didn't know before, which was fascinating and beneficial! Most importantly, her cheerful and bright personality created a fun atmosphere, allowing us to laugh and enjoy ourselves throughout the tour. It was truly a stroke of luck to meet Guide Aki and have such a wonderful trip 👍🏻 If I visit again next time, I definitely want to meet her again! I highly recommend her ;)
