It was a fantastic little tour! The long tunnel had a few artistically decorated outlets, which were perfect for pretty photo-shots. It only took about 2.5 hours total; it would be a good getaway from Echigo Yuzawa during non-snowing seasons. Highly recommend!!

It was fun and the vehicle was superb.. Alphard 🥰 we had a good time at Gala Yuzawa Snow resort. The kids had fun on the snow.

We had an enjoyable day trip exploring the key highlights of the Echigo-Tsumari Art Field. As the various art installations are scattered across the area and not easily accessible, this tour is recommended for those who would like to visit the art field but do not drive. Our guide, Shima-san, was knowledgeable and personable. She not only shared her knowledge about the art installations, she also shared interesting anecdotes about Niigata.

This ski lesson was truly fantastic! The instructor was incredibly patient and professional. Right from the start, they noticed I was a bit timid and guided me step-by-step according to my skill level, staying close behind me, which made me feel very secure. From being afraid to even put both feet on the snowboard at the beginning, to eventually being able to slowly glide down the slope using the falling leaf technique, the entire process was very rewarding and stress-free. Overall, the experience was excellent. If I have the chance next year, I will definitely book again.

We arrived 1.5 hours early to rent and put on our snow gear. The rental shop staff prepared the equipment for us. The quality was good. The instructions weren't very clear, but a staff member from the YUZAWA INTERNATIONAL PRO SNOW SCHOOL eventually picked us up from the shop, so waiting inside was fine. The staff drove us to Iwappara Ski Resort and introduced us to the coach from Taiwan. Both the staff and the coach were nice and friendly. We did some warm-up exercises and learned how to use a snowboard and the basic skills. We enjoyed the lesson, and it was a good experience for beginners.
