We have a very good skiing instructor, Harima-san. He is very professional, patient, helpful, and cheerful. He helped us get all our rental equipment and clothing. We learned a lot from him and we enjoyed the lesson.

Highly recommended!!! Great for beginners, and very convenient to get to from Tokyo. I especially recommend Kiki-sensei; she's an amazing teacher!! I want to come again next time.

We arrived 1.5 hours early to rent and put on our snow gear. The rental shop staff prepared the equipment for us. The quality was good. The instructions weren't very clear, but a staff member from the YUZAWA INTERNATIONAL PRO SNOW SCHOOL eventually picked us up from the shop, so waiting inside was fine. The staff drove us to Iwappara Ski Resort and introduced us to the coach from Taiwan. Both the staff and the coach were nice and friendly. We did some warm-up exercises and learned how to use a snowboard and the basic skills. We enjoyed the lesson, and it was a good experience for beginners.

Before going, I had many questions. Klook later forwarded them to the school, and the school staff's quick email responses put me at ease. On the day, our instructor, Aaron, was also excellent. He taught with great patience, guiding each of us individually, and was equally patient with the children, always prioritizing their safety. Whenever he had a moment, he would also help us take photos (although he was almost always busy because there were four of us). Many thanks to the instructor! However, for beginners, I strongly recommend a maximum of two people per instructor to maximize learning time. Otherwise, you'll just be waiting or practicing alone while the instructor is with others.

En tan solo tres días, Leo me ayudó a pasar de no saber ni siquiera cómo ponerme correctamente el equipo de esquí a disfrutar genuinamente esquiando en las pistas. Esta transformación no habría sido posible sin su paciencia, entusiasmo y profesionalismo. Me explicó cada técnica con claridad, corrigió mis movimientos con cuidado y, lo más importante, me animó constantemente. Incluso cuando estaba nerviosa o insegura, él se mantuvo tranquilo y me apoyó, lo que me dio la confianza para seguir intentándolo. Gracias a él, esquiar se ha convertido en algo que realmente disfruto en lugar de algo intimidante. El curso valió absolutamente la pena, y estoy muy agradecida por una experiencia de aprendizaje tan positiva. Tenemos un instructor de habla inglesa llamado Andy, creo que es de Taiwán y trabaja aquí. Es el mejor instructor, con todas las habilidades básicas y nos enseña con mucha paciencia. Ojalá podamos volver a verlo el año que viene y seguiremos utilizando este servicio, ya que es muy conveniente. Incluso nos ofrecieron recogernos en la estación de tren con viaje de vuelta incluido.

We attended the class on 2026/01/29, and both of us were complete beginners at skiing. We are very grateful to Coach Duck for his patient and thoughtful guidance, from putting on the equipment to the end of the lesson. Highly recommended. The class was arranged by the local ski company, Yuzawa International Ski School. We suggest that the company improve the way students and coaches meet and identify each other, as it's very difficult to find a coach in the vast snow with just a headshot. Fortunately, the coach found us.

Many reservations can only be made two days in advance, but here you can book classes for the next day, which offers great flexibility for itinerary planning.

Your explanations were clear, and you were great at guiding us, which helped us improve a lot! What touched us most was how warmly you encouraged us, so even when we fell, we didn't feel frustrated but rather more confident to keep challenging ourselves. We are truly grateful for your companionship and guidance, which gave us such wonderful skiing memories 🙏.
