Coach Shawn is incredibly dedicated. From pre-trip confirmations to assisting with ski equipment rental and sizing, and providing fundamental instruction, he started from the very basics. By the end, he enabled beginners to ride the ski lift and ski down beginner slopes (this depends on individual aptitude; I'm the type with poor physical fitness). The coach stayed by my side the entire time, which was very reassuring. He didn't use his phone or do other things; he was dedicated every moment. There was no unnecessary small talk, making him a perfect coach for introverts. This time, I chose snowboarding at Yuzawa Nakazato Ski Resort for a 6-hour lesson. On the second day, when I skied by myself, I was already able to slowly ski down the beginner slope alone. It was so moving!

An excellent learning experience! I was a complete beginner and booked a one-on-one lesson. The progress I made in two hours exceeded my expectations 🥹. I highly, highly recommend Teacher Cata; she's incredibly skilled! She can ski backward, guiding me from the front. Not only is she very punctual and friendly, but she also has infinite patience. She constantly encouraged me during the lesson and would explain things in different ways if I didn't understand. That day, I took the cable car and skied on different slopes, building my confidence to ski independently in the afternoon. Of course, having a coach there made me feel much more secure and safe. No words can express my joy and gratitude. I highly recommend her to everyone! 👍🏼

We booked our first ski experience through Klook and it exceeded our expectations! 🤍 In just 2 hours, we were able to learn the basics, even for someone like me who really struggles with balance. I honestly didn’t think I’d be able to do it, but our instructor Juan was incredibly patient, clear, and encouraging throughout the whole session. He made everything feel easy and fun, which helped build our confidence right away. By the end, we were actually skiing! Highly recommend this experience, especially for beginners. Coach: Aleksei (Alex) Location: Naeba Safety: Excellent Experience: Our family of two adults and two children had never learned to ski. After a day of 5 hours of detailed instruction from the coach, both children (16y, 10y) were able to ski down the simplest green runs! It was a great sense of accomplishment. Alex is very kind, highly skilled, Russian, and his English is clear and easy to understand. Klook's price is affordable, cheaper than outside Chinese coaches. Anyone with basic English skills can give it a try! 😊

Nik is een leuke, verantwoordelijke en ervaren coach. Voor onze eerste sessie boekte ik vijf uur les voor twee kinderen. Nik nam de kinderen persoonlijk mee om uitrusting te huren. We begonnen met oefenen op het beginnersgebied. Later nam hij de kinderen om de beurt de berg op en hield hun handen vast terwijl ze naar beneden skieden. Het was een absoluut bevredigende eerste ski-ervaring voor ons allemaal. Mijn dochter vond het zo leuk dat ze meteen vroeg om nog twee dagen les te boeken. Ze is een nogal verlegen kind, maar met Nik's geduldige aanmoediging kon ze al bij de tweede les zelfstandig skiën. We zijn hem echt dankbaar voor alle hulp die Nik ons heeft gegeven – hij haalde ons zelfs op bij het hotel naar het skigebied en zette ons af bij het treinstation nadat de lessen waren afgelopen.

The price here is very affordable compared to other private coaches outside. Coach Ethan is extremely patient, experienced, and professional. He explains techniques clearly and takes the time to make sure I understand each movement. His guidance really helps improve confidence and skills step by step. The sessions are well structured and enjoyable, and you can truly feel his passion for coaching. I highly recommend.

Everything was so well organized. So my wife and I decided to come to Yuzawa for snowboarding, we both are newbies. As soon as we submitted the booking, we received email contact from the ski school’s representative, Patrick, was very informative and gave us many useful advices on how to prep ourselves (1st time going to Yuzawa). He told us which snow resorts were suitable for beginners, gear rental info etc. I asked him questions (1st time going to Yuzawa). In the end we decided on Nakozato Snow Resort. On the day of the lesson, we had Vendy as our instructor. Vendy was super nice, experienced and patient. We spent sometime practicing on the magic carpet, then soon we took the lift and snowboarded down the green line. With just some pointers here and there, Vendy even helped me to successfully improved my turning skills, I was able to performed “Toe side turning” on the snowboard multiple times~ Yay! :)

I booked this for my 7-year-old son alone. Instructor Shuan is very experienced in coaching children. My son has improved immensely under his guidance. Thank you, Instructor Shuan. 👍👍👍

This time, I arranged to go skiing at Yuzawa Park and found the same instructor as last year, Aaron (Malaysian). Because I hadn't skied for a year and was still a beginner (only able to do snowplow stops and not very smooth turns), some very steep slopes still scared me to tears due to my fear of heights. The instructor patiently comforted me, saying it was okay to walk down if I really couldn't do it, but I still managed to ski all the way. I know there are many private instructors out there, but I still chose Snow Country, which has a complete system. At least I can be assured of the instructor's ability and the insurance, which offers more protection for consumers. This time, I fell and injured my knee on the cable car, and the instructor did his best to help me. Even though I don't know if I'll continue skiing in the future, I still recommend everyone to find a qualified and reputable company for peace of mind, and I also recommend my own instructor.
