I booked a Kerama Islands snorkeling plus sea turtle swimming package via Klook, with Miegusuku Port as the meeting point. I self drove so I did not use the provided pick up service, and parking at the port is chargeable. Check in started around 8.20am. Onboard, all equipment such as wetsuits, masks, fins, and life jackets were provided, along with a safety briefing and optional add ons like banana boat rides, jet ski activities, and GoPro rental. The boat reached the snorkeling site in about 20mins, where we entered the water in guided groups. After an initial session and a short break on the yacht with tea provided, participants split into different activity groups. The sea turtle experience involved a short banana boat ride to a nearby spot, where staff first checked for turtles before we snorkelled in the area, followed by additional free snorkeling nearby. We returned to the yacht around 11.00am and arrived back at port at about 11.50am, with equipment cleaned on board.

There are many different kinds of fish in the huge observation tank, very spectacular. A must-visit tourist attraction in Okinawa. We joined Klook to visit this place, and our tour guide Qianqian was very well-versed in the history and shared it with us. Thumbs up for Klook!

Enjoyed the tour, especially the Okinawa Chaurumi Aquarium. 🐟 I can consider it one of the highlights of my trip here in Okinawa. The only bad side is that the tour guide can only speak in Chinese, make sure to book one with an English tour guide so that you will understand what he says. 😅

I was traveling alone and couldn't drive. It was a worthwhile trip, but I didn't realize there was no tour guide. Because when I came the next day, it was a one-day tour of the north with a tour guide. For this one-day tour of the south, I thought there would be a tour guide, but it turns out I didn't pay attention when I placed the order myself (no wonder it was so cheap, haha). However, although the driver, a Japanese gentleman, doesn't speak Chinese, he has a phone with a translation app that can be used to listen. The driver was also very thoughtful and helped us to be on time to get back to the car. There's no fear of not understanding or not knowing what to do. Plus, there were many Taiwanese tourists in the same car. It was a good and worthwhile experience.

Tickets need to be purchased the day before, and exchanging them is convenient. We arrived at 10 AM. Water and drinks are not allowed inside. There are lockers available for bags, costing 100 Japanese Yen per use, which is refundable. If you don't have change, you can exchange it at the counter. The facility is divided into about seven major zones, each with a theme. It was a bit dark when we first entered, but the children weren't afraid of the dark once they started playing. The interactivity is very high, with many ways to play. We happened to meet a Japanese staff member who spoke Chinese and gave us a very detailed introduction, so we enjoyed many of the intricate details. The children played inside for two hours.

We are a family of four who used the Okinawa Pass for Golden Week, and it was 100% worth it. We were able to enjoy four different experiences, including Okinawa World, snorkeling in the Blue Cave, the aquarium, and the Southeast Botanical Garden. My recommendation is to make your reservations in advance. Also, check the weather, as the booking window closes quickly the day before.

The shop is located inside Makishi Market. You can go from the 1st-floor entrance up the stairs to the 2nd-floor shop and just show your reservation confirmation. After taking off your shoes at the shop entrance, you need to put them in a plastic bag. You'll also be given a large bag for your personal belongings (and a numbered wristband to wear). Any food or drinks should be placed separately on a small table inside the door. You really need to remember to look after your belongings, because I forgot the Chinsuko I bought at Shuri Castle in the shop and didn't take it with me. By the time I remembered, it was the next day, and it was Sunday, the shop's day off, so I had to give it to the shop (cries). This shop is very popular. I arrived on time for my reservation, and there were already at least 4 to 5 mainland Chinese girls getting dressed or queuing. It took about 30 to 40 minutes before it was my turn. I recommend booking the earliest slot if possible, so you don't have to queue, and the outer and inner garments you want to wear won't be picked by others! The shop staff are very friendly and kind. Even though they are extremely busy, they will communicate with you patiently about what hairstyle you want and what belt style you'd like. They will also help take photos when they are free after finishing their tasks. Makeup is not included, but hairstyle and dressing are (you can choose between kimono or Ryukyu traditional clothing). Two-toed socks are provided. For the Ryukyu traditional clothing, you choose the outer and inner garments separately. You change out of your own clothes in a small changing room, put on the flesh-colored bodysuit provided by the shop, and then queue up for your hairstyle and dressing. You can also choose your own hair accessories. Finally, after taking all the photos you want and taking off the Ryukyu traditional clothing, you don't have to undo your hairstyle. The shop will even give you a small hair tie (you choose the design). This was truly a very interesting experience, highly recommended~
