There are many different kinds of fish in the huge observation tank, very spectacular. A must-visit tourist attraction in Okinawa. We joined Klook to visit this place, and our tour guide Qianqian was very well-versed in the history and shared it with us. Thumbs up for Klook!
Such a smooth and enjoyable day tour! Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium was definitely the highlight—seeing the massive whale sharks up close was unforgettable. Cape Manza had stunning ocean views, perfect for photos. The bus was comfortable, schedule was well-paced, and everything was hassle-free. Highly recommended if you want to explore Northern Okinawa in one day!
Tour guide Qian led us through a wonderful day! This trip didn't involve self-driving, so we joined a one-day tour. The attractions in the northern part are very appealing and are among the most worthwhile places to visit in Okinawa. All tour members arrived punctually for departure. Although the journey was long, the tour guide created a lively atmosphere and meticulously introduced the history and important notes for each location. The time spent at each attraction was ample, allowing us to explore everything. However, at American Village, we chose to return on our own because we felt the original 40 minutes wouldn't be enough. The guide also informed us about bus options for returning to Naha. The entire experience was delightful, especially with the guide's explanations. Highly recommended, and the early bird discount makes it even more affordable!
This one-day tour of northern Okinawa was incredibly fulfilling and efficient, making it an excellent choice for first-time visitors to Okinawa. The itinerary covered several of the most classic landmarks in the north, saving the hassle of planning transportation independently. The Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium was the highlight, with the immense "Kuroshio Sea" tank being truly breathtaking. Kouri Island's cross-sea bridge and beautiful ocean views were also stunning. Additionally, Manzamo's elephant trunk rock showcased the natural power of Okinawa's coastline, and the American Village at the end offered diverse shopping and dining options, providing a relaxing conclusion to the trip. Although the attractions were spread out and some time was spent on the road, the guide managed the time well, keeping the overall itinerary tight but not chaotic. Overall, this is a high-value, excellent tour that allows you to experience the essence of Okinawa in one go. It is highly recommended for travelers who prefer not to drive, offering a perfect experience!
The meetup place indicated in the description is in front of Blue Seal, but the actual meetup place is across the street, which was confusing. Many of the places we went to are tourist traps. Most of the tourists you'll be with are Chinese, so the guide will be speaking in Chinese throughout the trip, but I didn't mind. The tour guide is very energetic and accommodating; she deserves a raise.
It was a great trip with an excellent tour guide, Guide No. 6! We didn't have to wake up too early in the morning, and the meeting point was right at the entrance of Ryubo Department Store, which was easy to find. Our tour guide, Ms. Guide No. 6, was a very professional and experienced guide. Her explanations were interesting and full of information, and she provided ample reminders about the itinerary. The only minor issue was that her English wasn't very strong, but because she had such a good attitude, my fellow tour members and I were very willing to help with translation. During the tour, the guide slightly adjusted the time spent at each attraction based on traffic conditions. We stayed at the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium for 3 hours and 20 minutes. Upon arrival, we followed her suggestion to first buy Agu pork burgers for lunch and watch the dolphin show, then visited the manatee exhibit and the aquarium. The aquarium was quite crowded, and we spent an hour and a half, just enough time to see everything. However, it was too crowded to buy souvenirs (though there's also an aquarium specialty store on Kokusai Street). In the afternoon, our stop at American Village was very short, and the designated parking was quite far. After a quick restroom break at Aeon, we didn't have much time to browse, only managing a quick walk around. However, we weren't particularly interested in American Village to begin with, so it was fine. The day we went was a weekday, and surprisingly, there was no traffic congestion, except for a 10-minute extra stop at Manza Mo. Still, we didn't arrive back at Ryubo Department Store until 7 PM. If you plan to go to Makishi Market for dinner, you might not make it before the stalls close for purchasing ingredients. On weekends with traffic, the arrival time would likely be even later. Overall, I highly recommend this tour. 3 hours and something is just enough time to explore the aquarium, and other tours with shorter durations might not have time for the dolphin show and exhibits.
The guide was comprehensive in her explanation of the itinerary and what to expect. She also shared about the culture and must-try food in Okinawa. The itinerary was a little tight, especially at the Churaumi Aquarium (maybe because it was a Friday, it was very crowded). But overall, it's still highly recommended as it's quite worth the price with all the transport and entrance fees included. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
It was a fulfilling day trip. The tour guide was very engaging, and the bus transportation was comfortable. The only drawback was that the time allowed for visiting American Village was rather too short.
First, I'd like to commend the tour guide and driver; they were both incredibly polite. The guide provided explanations throughout the trip, sharing not only information related to the attractions but also many stories about life in Okinawa, which was a nice bonus. The weather was beautiful. After visiting, we walked to the beach next to the aquarium to sunbathe and watched the sea change from clear to emerald green and then to deep blue—it was stunning. On the way back, due to the weekend and highway construction, there was some traffic. Instead of taking the highway, we took the surface roads, which gave us a lot more time to enjoy the ocean views. We arrived at American Village just in time to catch the sunset glow. It was a wonderful day.
The itinerary was excellent, and the stops were perfectly timed. Tour guide Mr. Huang from Yamato Travel Agency deserves a perfect 100 points! He provided very detailed explanations and shared his personal experiences in Okinawa with everyone. The time allocated for each stop throughout the itinerary was ample, especially the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium, where we had a full 3.5 hours. It's a pity that the aquarium can actually be explored in just two hours, but the dolphin show was the highlight. Finally, the driving throughout the trip was very smooth and comfortable. The only downside was that the seats were incredibly small, making it impossible to stretch our legs. I hope the vehicles can be improved 🙌. This is a highly recommended group tour package.
