The highlight of our Okinawan trip; the staff are very kind and stayed back some time for us to watch and film the whales although they said they would go straight back once a whale was spotted. An awesome experience with both the weather and whales cooperating. Was not too rocky but we ate very lightly and took our own seasick medicine half hour before boarding the boat so it was an enjoyable experience for us. Can’t believe we saw the whales so close; it was magic 😍

December isn't the peak season for whale activity, so whale sightings aren't guaranteed every day. We were lucky to see some, though we only saw tails, spouts, and fins. You can see them much more clearly at an aquarium. It's very cold and windy when you go out to sea in winter, and it rains intermittently. You'll be out at sea for a long time, so make sure to wear enough warm clothing. Also, the waves can be quite big at times, so it's essential to take motion sickness medication.

The crew was very experienced in spotting whales. We were out at sea for an hour but didn't see many; most of the ones we spotted were only spouting and fluking. The sea sickness pill helped as none of our family experienced nausea.

A fantastic whale watching tour! Our whole family had a great time and we successfully saw whales! Although I felt seasick and uncomfortable, the staff were very attentive and took good care of me. Overall, it was still a wonderful experience, highly recommended.

We specially arranged a day in Okinawa to purchase a whale watching package on Klook, and we were really satisfied with the dedicated car transfer service. We also saw many whales and had a great time. It felt very worthwhile and cost-effective 👍

The local travel agency sent a thoughtful reminder email the day before with important notes and the pick-up location, and the staff on the day were all very friendly! We were also very lucky to see whales breaching many times this trip, making it a truly worthwhile experience.

Depart early in the morning for whale watching. First, gather at the meeting point for roll call, then board the boat. The sea is quite choppy, so wear a windbreaker and take motion sickness medication. Fortunately, we saw whales.

The sea was rough with large waves on the day of our trip. Unfortunately, the boat couldn't get nearer to the whales, so we could only catch a glimpse of a few blow spouts from far. It might not have been the best day for whale watching. It seems there’s a high chance of not seeing much or not at all, so it’s important to keep your expectations low. On a positive note, the hotel pick-up service was excellent, explanations were clear, they managed the group well. Do prepare seasickness medication for the trip, as quite a few in my group got nauseous and threw out. Was given a free bottle of anti seasickness drink for my booking though I brought my own patch too.
