It was pretty good! The flow of people at the site was very smooth, and before getting into the water, they briefly explained the swimming route. The guide initially said that if you got tired, you could rest, and verbally told us which areas we couldn't go into (because they were too deep). I thought it would be fine to just follow the guide, but he barely stopped, so if you don't keep up with him, you'll fall behind. You pretty much have to keep swimming until you reach a crevice where he'll take a photo for you, and then you'll loop back to another landing point. It's about a 1.5-hour swim with few breaks. Once you get out, they give you an energy bar and hot chocolate. The guide was very nice. If I had more stamina, I would have enjoyed it even more! Also, one of my companions had water get into their drysuit and was very cold halfway through the swim, so if possible, remember to bring an extra change of clothes and some cold medicine.

The entire experience with pickup is about half a day, you only spend less than an hour in the water. The drive from Reykjavik is about 45 minutes, prep time of getting into the suits, and briefing is about an hour. When you finally get in the water you are treated to some of the most beautiful and drinkable water I’ve ever seen - don’t drink too much or you may end up buying your suit. If you are lucky to get some sunshine while you snorkel the water elevates to something mind blowing. The only downside to this adventure is that the area is inhabited by minges who are incredibly annoying so be prepared to constantly swat them or look silly so they don’t bother you. You end up in a small group with a guide which makes the experience even better. I would easily do this experience again.

I have to put 4 stars because the volcano hike was shorter than what was written in the itinerary. I really like the hike for the volcano but the time spent is too short in my opinion. This tour is also split into 2 groups after the volcano hike, one for blue lagoon and the rest to Reykjanes area, which I think it's not very time efficient considering the time spent for each location is also short. For this, driving is recommended than joining the tour.

Our guide, Ania, was excellent, and it was a wonderful experience. We signed up for the 5.5-hour tour, and the actual hiking time was 3.5 hours. Remember to bring food! There will be time to stop and rest and refuel halfway through.

This is the best day trip among other 4 day trips I had in iceland. It is a small group tour operate by big bus tour using jeep entering the highlands through f roads n river crossing. Laudmannalaugar is hiker paradise with different hiking trails from easy, moderate and hard. Our group split into 2 teams when some experienced hikers go for moderate trail by themselves, while most of us choosing easy trail and our guide bring us go and take care of us well. The hike is not hard, most are flat terrain with few steep up and down. But highly recommend to wear hiking shoes with mega grip. Normal person without any medical condition will have no issue with the hike. it's 4km and we spent 2 hours to slowly walk and take photos as the scenery is too beautiful, it is like in another planet. Our guide is very good. We continue to other stops to see canyon, waterfalls, viking house without any hurry. This tour is a very long day tour but absolutely worth it ended 9pm+. Definitely recommend it.

A great experience (particularly the ice climbing) and well organised day. The guide for the ice climbing, Steven, was knowledgable, safety concious and thorough in his explanations that gave me the confidence to push myself into some incredible situations on the glacier. Were it not for his professionalism and attention to detail, I doubt I would have had the same experience. Highly recommend this for an adventure seeking day up close to the glacier, especially if Steven is at the helm!

An amazing experience, especially for young children. The guide lady speaks excellent English, is friendly, and has a great sense of humor. My family really enjoyed the trip. We saw puffins from the boat, and they are super cute. My 9- and 7-year-old kids loved this boat trip. Highly recommend!

Good experience thanks to Alessio, captain and crew from special tours - managed to see 2 humpback whales & 2 mica whales! Thankfully the captain was skilled and reversed when the whale was near us, unlike other smaller boats who charge towards the whale...

After a 15-minute stop on the way to purchase lunch, we headed straight to Vik, then transferred to a Super Jeep for about half an hour to reach the glacier, where we put on crampons and helmets. We then walked for about 10-15 minutes to enter the ice cave. It was extremely cold due to heavy rain/snow. The ice cave isn't very large but it's beautiful and worth seeing. On the return journey, we stopped at two waterfalls before heading back to the city.
