Reykjavik

It was absolutely a wonderful trip for us. The bus was so comfortable that we did not feel tired though the travelling distance was more than 800km. Geri who was our guide was a wonderful guide. We were able to see the iceberg and other natural heritages of the South Coast. Absolutely amazing!!!!

We had Petra and Dean bring us around and I must say this was really fun! they changed the locations on the spot depending on the possibility of the aurora and the weather and we had a FANTASTIC sighting near Keflavik! the two of them are so spontaneous and kept us on our toes! I loved it!

It was a fantastic tour! The bus was on time and comfortable. We really enjoyed and were amazed by the wonderful beatuties of the crater, the greysir, the mighty waterfall, and the national park. Highly recommended!

Great trip! Our guide was a retired Icelandic man who is very knowledgeable. I have brought some snacks with me and decided to skip the dine-in lunch. The guide arranged me to take a scenic hike trail around the town of Arnarstapi. Highly recommended!

Our guide Anya is just amazing. She is very knowledgeable about the glacier and explained very well. she is extremely careful about safety of every team member. She held the hand of a team member who had some difficulties walking to make sure she got to enjoy the hike. very caring guide. We are so lucky to have her. Thank you Anya.

Jessica was a fantastic guide from Bus Travel Iceland-friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the trip. We were lucky to have sunny weather, which made the views along the road even more stunning. The tour was well organized, everyone stayed on schedule, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable. The entire experience with pickup is about half a day, you only spend less than an hour in the water. The drive from Reykjavik is about 45 minutes, prep time of getting into the suits, and briefing is about an hour. When you finally get in the water you are treated to some of the most beautiful and drinkable water I’ve ever seen - don’t drink too much or you may end up buying your suit. If you are lucky to get some sunshine while you snorkel the water elevates to something mind blowing. The only downside to this adventure is that the area is inhabited by minges who are incredibly annoying so be prepared to constantly swat them or look silly so they don’t bother you. You end up in a small group with a guide which makes the experience even better. I would easily do this experience again.

On the way there, we stopped for a 15-minute break to buy lunch, then headed straight to Vik. From there, we transferred to a Super Jeep for about half an hour to reach the glacier, where we put on crampons and helmets. We then walked for about 10-15 minutes to enter the ice cave. It was extremely cold due to heavy rain/snow. The ice cave wasn't very big, but it was beautiful and definitely worth seeing. On the return trip, we stopped at two waterfalls before heading back to the city.

The captain tried their best to look for whales/ any wildlifes during the boat ride. We saw dolphins at the end.
