Fantastic 5.0
It was a pleasant visit to Sky Lagoon. The view of the ocean was incredible. The 7-step ritual was just OK (you can't go back to the ritual, including sauna and steam room; once you finish it, you must stay in the public lagoon area. I recommend the Ser Pass, which gives you a private changing/shower room. My only complaint is that the lotion ran out in two changing room (Ser Pass). I had to look for lotion everywhere. They should check and refill regularly.

The captain tried their best to look for whales/ any wildlifes during the boat ride. We saw dolphins at the end.

On the way there, we stopped for a 15-minute break to buy lunch, then headed straight to Vik. From there, we transferred to a Super Jeep for about half an hour to reach the glacier, where we put on crampons and helmets. We then walked for about 10-15 minutes to enter the ice cave. It was extremely cold due to heavy rain/snow. The ice cave wasn't very big, but it was beautiful and definitely worth seeing. On the return trip, we stopped at two waterfalls before heading back to the city.

This is my first time ever to go horse riding. it's an amazing experience. the Iceland horses are a little smaller than regular horse and they are very gentle. the coach guided the whole team well and have them remain in a line. really recommend this activity to enjoy horse riding while also seeing the scenic Iceland!

It was absolutely a wonderful trip for us. The bus was so comfortable that we did not feel tired though the travelling distance was more than 800km. Geri who was our guide was a wonderful guide. We were able to see the iceberg and other natural heritages of the South Coast. Absolutely amazing!!!!

We had Petra and Dean bring us around and I must say this was really fun! they changed the locations on the spot depending on the possibility of the aurora and the weather and we had a FANTASTIC sighting near Keflavik! the two of them are so spontaneous and kept us on our toes! I loved it!

Great trip! Our guide was a retired Icelandic man who is very knowledgeable. I have brought some snacks with me and decided to skip the dine-in lunch. The guide arranged me to take a scenic hike trail around the town of Arnarstapi. Highly recommended!

Jessica was a fantastic guide from Bus Travel Iceland-friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging throughout the trip. We were lucky to have sunny weather, which made the views along the road even more stunning. The tour was well organized, everyone stayed on schedule, and the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended when visiting Iceland!

What to know before visiting Reykjavik

Quick Reykjavik snapshot and what draws visitors

Reykjavik’s top bookings on Klook are led by tours and outdoor & sports activities, with museums and events also popular — the city’s seasonality shows clear busy and quiet periods throughout the year. Demand peaks in March while May sees the lightest booking activity, so the city alternates between lively peak months and much quieter stretches. Expect most bookings to be for guided experiences and outdoor pursuits that follow that seasonal rhythm.

Best times to visit based on demand and prices

Klook data shows demand is highest in March and at its lowest in May. Prices trend lower through late summer into early autumn and are typically lowest in October, while April appears as the priciest month on Klook. If you want smaller crowds and generally lower prices, aim for October or the quieter months after peak season; if you prefer peak-season atmosphere and don’t mind higher costs, March and April deliver the busiest feel. Overall, demand and prices mostly move together around the spring peak and autumn dip, with April noticeably expensive even as demand starts to fall from its March high.

Tips for travellers from Australia planning Reykjavik trips

Many travellers from Australia book around a week in advance on average, with some last-minute options available a day out for flexible plans. If you’re travelling in the March–April peak, try to lock in popular tours and outdoor activities earlier (around a week or more) to secure spots; for October and other quieter months you can often be more flexible. Use Klook to compare options and reserve the specific tours or activities you want without having to over-plan.
