Excellent, helpful staff. Comfy, quiet lounge area. Handy luggage storage and elevator. Good location. Note that the walk from BSI is uphill.

Solo stay

Lobby area is fantastic. Comfortable bed, clean room, wonderful staff. The location is excellent - just a couple of blocks to Rainbow Street with excellent shops and restaurants. This boutique hotel is charming and I wish my stay had been longer!

Centrally located, clean and overall maintained, plus friendly staff. Nice breakfast. The lift is a bit dated and temperamental. Mattress a bit on the soft side but ok. Blackout curtains could have been a bit wider. All in all highly recommended.

Great

Stayed with family

Hotel Holt was clean and comfortable. It was rather expensive (especially my sister’s room) for the size of the rooms. We had a junior suite, which had enough space for 3 of us, but the bathroom was quite small. My sister had a single room and it was tiny - smaller than my son’s dorm room at uni! It did exit out onto a long balcony, which had a great view of Reykjavik ( but it also made her feel somewhat unsafe as it was shared with all the rooms on that side of the 4th floor). The staff were all great, and the art was varied and interesting. I was surprised at how much art is displayed! Loved the vibe in the lobby and bar with all the leather seating.

Good experience overall, decent location, larger clean rooms and bathrooms, good breakfast, very busy hotel. Only negative is the lack of on-site parking requiring paid street parking. Walkable access to Reykjavik shops and restaurants. I would stay there again and would recommend as a newer hotel.

Great

Stayed with family · For friends and family

The Hotel is charming and well located, walking distance from the city centre and with its own parking on the side of the building. The breakfast is rich and tasty, served on spacious tables and cozy chairs. The room was clean and managed to fit our family of 4, with toddler in the cot and baby in the pram. We didn’t like the shower curtain in plastic and the hotel staff doesn’t pay much attention to avoid waking up a sleeping baby, but all in all, everyone has been very kind and helpful. We recommend it!
