Petra and Dean took us around, and I must say, it was really fun! They changed the locations on the spot depending on the possibility of the aurora and the weather, and we had a FANTASTIC sighting near Keflavik! The two of them are so spontaneous and kept us on our toes! I loved it!

I had a wonderful experience with this travel agency on the Northern Lights tour. On my first tour, we were unfortunately unable to see the aurora, but the agency kindly offered me another try the next day at no extra cost. On the second tour, I was lucky enough to see a beautiful dancing aurora. The guide also explained the phenomenon clearly, which made the experience even more special. I truly appreciate their professionalism, honesty, and care for their customers. I highly recommend this agency to anyone hoping to see the Northern Lights.

Vente på den angivne bussholdeplads, turbussen kommer og henter dig tæt på turens starttidspunkt. Harold, vores guide og chauffør, gjorde et rigtig godt stykke arbejde. Han observerede vejret og KP-indekset for at finde det bedste sted at se nordlyset. Det var virkelig fantastisk og utroligt, da vi så nordlyset. Tak til turselskabet og Harold for den store indsats, kan varmt anbefales.

Smooth pick up at bus stop within 30 minutes of designated slot. Nice ride to see the Northern lights at the bridge of continents at Sandvík. Didn't expect much due to the huge cloud cover and drizzling weather, but the weather finally cleared and the clouds made way to a beautiful starry night sky at 11pm. 30 mins standing in the cold at 2 degrees and still no sight of it. When the guide David rounded us up at 12am, the driver Marios spotted the sudden streak of green light with a shy tinge of red. Lucky to spot one on the first night in Iceland despite the weather!

Bustravel Iceland guarantees the quality of its tours. Our tour guide, Ivy, is quite young and happened to be the guide for the Golden Circle day tour the day before. Her father, Mr. Captain, was coincidentally the driver of the same bus. That evening, many buses went out to hunt for the Northern Lights. After waiting for an hour at the lighthouse, with strong winds and waves, the Aurora was nowhere to be seen. Ivy and her father distributed hot chocolate to the group members and told them that singing could summon the goddess Aurora. She then encouraged everyone to sing and play instruments. Strangely enough, after two or three songs, the wind was still strong, but we heard cheers from the group members. The Aurora goddess began to dance, clearly visible to the naked eye. After an unforgettable hour of joy, Ivy announced it was time to head back.

The guide was entertaining and knowledgeable, sharing tips and stories about the northern lights. Made the effort to bring us to three different places to catch the lights, and even introduced us to the mid-Atlantic ridge :) Hot chocolate in the cold was a great bonus!

Well, the trip was nice. The bus came on time to pick us up and dropped us off as well. Jennifer was quite good. We did the northern lights hunt due to cloudy weather, but eventually found them and took good photos. We were given hot chocolate towards the end as well. Thanks.

Definitivno se isplati ići na turu kako biste osigurali najbolje šanse za viđenje svjetala! Bio bi rizik ići sami, ali postoji šansa da ih vidite sami. Međutim, oni imaju sve najbolje aplikacije i najnovije informacije o tome gdje ići i gdje ih je najbolje vidjeti. Daniel, turistički vodič, bio je zabavan, držao nas je zabavljenima i imao je toliko znanja o svjetlima da smo bili vrlo sretni što smo ga imali za vodiča.

Overall a good northern lights tour! Our guide, Gudjon (?), was friendly & we really enjoyed his commentary/knowledge sharing. He brought us to a really secluded & dark location to see the lights which were incredible that evening (the rest of the guides take you to Thingvellir National Park), and also shared with us how to capture the northern lights on our iPhone/Android phones. In between locations he also took song requests via email which was a nice & unique touch! I’d strongly recommend going on the tour with him.

superb, we got very nice view of the lights, and it was dancing 🎈🥳😍🥰😘 the waiting spot was exclusive and perfect! we were the only group there, felt very intimate and spoiled. the tour guide Vik was very professional in explaining things and filling the time and the driver Eugene was indeed the best.
