Nantou｜Passeio de um dia pelo Lago da Lua Crescente do Lago Sun Moon e pelo Pântano Gaomei｜Partida de Taichung

I was so lucky to join the Sun Moon Lake & Gaomei Wetland day tour led by GuoEn (Ivn) today; it was absolutely perfect. The weather was perfect, the tour guide was perfect, and the scenery was perfect. GuoEn was very patient and attentive to every group member, from picking us up at the hotel in the morning, taking photos for everyone along the way, to waiting for us to finish watching the sunset before returning us to the hotel. The itinerary stated a return time of 5:50 PM, but today's sunset was at 6:36 PM, and we originally expected to return at 6:45 PM. GuoEn patiently waited until all group members had finished watching the sunset, returning only around 7:00 PM. Sun Moon Lake, a place that appeared in my textbooks as a child, on page 43 of my passport, truly lives up to its reputation. Having seen different sunsets around the world, I still have to marvel at the sunset at Gaomei Wetland. Thank you for this perfect day tour, which brought my Taiwan independent trip to a wonderful close. It's such a pleasure joining the tour led by GuoEn (Ivn), which was perfect in every way. We're lucky to have a perfect trip with perfect weather and a perfect tour guide GuoEn. GuoEn took care of every member patiently with a warm smile and took photos for everyone. He picked up each member at their hotel in the morning and drove us to Sun Moon Lake. We all enjoyed the boat ride around the lake and the stunning sunset at Gaomei Wetland. GuoEn waited patiently till everyone had finished admiring the sunset, even though it lasted until around 7:00 PM, later than the planned 6:45 PM. Afterward, he drove us back to our hotels. What an unforgettable journey!

This itinerary is great! We are lucky to have a nice weather when we did this tour. I enjoyed Sun Moon Lake especially the scenic bike ride & the stunning sunset in Gaomei Wetlands. Ben our driver/tour guide/photographer is absolutely amazing!!👏From pick up to the actual tour up until the drop off, everything is seamless. He made sure that all of us are enjoying & he took lovely photos!! Even if I am a solo traveler, I had amazing photos!!🙌 Kudos to Ben!! Highly recommended!!

Our tour guide, Guon, led us on a Sun Moon Lake & Gaomei Wetlands day trip. Overall, the entire journey was a fantastic experience. The day before departure, the guide messaged us to confirm the time and pick-up location, provided the license plate number, and reminded us to bring motion sickness medication. We visited Sun Moon Lake by boat, stopping at three piers. The braised pork rice and black tea recommended by our guide were delicious! Afterwards, we had about an hour and a half to cycle along Sun Moon Lake to the Xiangshan Visitor Center, then visited Wenwu Temple, and finally went to Gaomei Wetlands to watch the sunset. Throughout the trip, the guide meticulously helped us take photos, even bringing a 360-degree panoramic camera. The guide's photography skills were excellent! They also instructed us on posing for photos. At the end of the tour, the guide asked us where we wanted to be dropped off and delivered us one by one. The entire itinerary was well-planned and fulfilling, without feeling rushed. P.S. In the afternoon, we asked the guide for dinner restaurant recommendations, and they enthusiastically helped us make a reservation, and we even received special treatment. We are so grateful!

It was a substantial and fulfilling tour. The hotel pickup was very convenient, and they informed us of the pickup time the day before. The guide spoke English well, so communication was not an issue, and the time spent at each location was just right. The lake's color was so beautiful, which I loved, and the tea eggs I had at the first temple we visited were delicious! In the village, I enjoyed the cabbage buns and the No. 18 tea. The sunset at the Gomi Wetlands was also incredibly beautiful, and watching the crabs was fun. The grilled squid and squid balls sold in front of the parking lot were also tasty! I realized I only wrote about food, haha. I highly recommend this tour!

I thought the tour was great! Many different stops along the way. There were times it was a bit confusing where our next location would be and how much money was required for the extra activities. I knew there would be extra charges, but it seemed high and other tours have been a bit more transparent about what costs would be. We needed 350 extra for the bikes, and 300 extra for the boat tour, which wasn't clear until right when we paid. The Gaomei wetlands were beautiful, it would have been nice to stay just a bit longer to finish the sunset but that's kind of hour tours go. Overall, it had lots of stops and was very convenient, but communication about the charges in advance would have been better! The timing of the tour was great and the locations were so beautiful, the most fun part probably being the bike ride. Would definitely go again!

Although I don't speak Chinese, I had to book a Chinese group tour because of the urgent date. The guide kindly explained everything throughout the tour using a translator, and took such great photos of us, like models, that I was completely satisfied! We traveled by car, so there was no leg pain or discomfort, and not speaking Chinese didn't hinder the tour at all, so Korean visitors, don't hesitate to sign up! We had a fun and successful full-day tour, highly recommended! (P.S.: The wind at Gaomei Wetlands is really, really, really strongㅠㅠ An outer layer is essentialㅠㅠ It's so cold you might catch a cold)

This tour efficiently took us from a hotel in front of Taichung Station to Sun Moon Lake and Gaomei Wetlands. We were blessed with good weather and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. We had a choice between a Chinese or English tour, and since I didn't understand either, I opted for the more affordable Chinese tour. Even though I don't speak Chinese, I'm grateful to our driver and guide, Mr. Ruan, for being so kind and helpful. The Taiwanese people on the tour with us were also wonderful, making it a comfortable and memorable day. This was my first optional tour in 40 visits to Taiwan, and I wish I had experienced it sooner. Thank you so much, Mr. Ruan, our tour guide who loves Crayon Shin-chan! 🩵

我们只游览了日月潭的部分区域，但那是一次愉快的体验。在日月潭的时间有点短，这是唯一的缺点。在高美湿地的时间很完美，日落景色非常壮观。导游吴小姐人很好。
