Absolutely loved this kimono rental experience 🫶 The kimonos were so pretty with so many beautiful designs to choose from, and the makeup was soft, elegant, and done so nicely ✨ The staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout the whole process, which made everything feel comfortable and special. I truly felt so pretty and confident walking around Kyoto in my kimono 💕 Highly recommend!

The staff were nice and gentle. They gave us the best experience! The kimonos were all beautiful. Also, the photographer made our photoshoot easier by giving us instructions on how to pose, and he was very kind. It was the best!

The staff was very nice and did a good job! We booked for makeup, hair and kimono/yukata experience. We walked around Kyoto for 3 hours. Kimono was very comfortable, shoes not so much obviously. we could leave our bags there and put important stuff in bags they offered. Thank you for this experience!!

The staff speak fluent Mandarin. There's a wide selection of kimonos, and the package includes a bag, socks, sandals, and a hairstyle. The auntie who helped me put on the kimono was very quick and confirmed the tightness was comfortable for me. After putting on the kimono, we moved on to the hairstyle. The Taiwanese lady who did my hair was very thoughtful, checking if I wanted an updo and letting me choose hair accessories. The shop also has cosmetics available, which we could use to do our own makeup if we wished. After all this, you're given a luggage bag to store your belongings. The kimono return time is before 6 PM, but I returned early because it was a bit hot. After changing back into my own clothes and removing the hair accessories, I found my hairstyle was still perfectly intact, which shows how amazing their hairstyles really are. I highly recommend this place; I'll definitely rent their kimonos again when I visit Kyoto.

The store staff speak Japanese, Mandarin, and English. Despite their busy schedule, they are incredibly accommodating and do not rush the kimono selection process. The actual changing process is quick yet very comfortable. I received free hair styling with my lace set due to a Klook promotion, which I was extremely grateful for! The lady who tied my obi sash was a professional and did an excellent job! They provided us with fresh, new tabi socks for the sandals, and we could choose to either discard or keep them afterward! The location is very close to the temples and Gion streets, just a short walk away! They also had a bathroom facility, which was a nice touch! It was busy, but I still felt attended to. I will definitely be returning next time!

I had the most wonderful time strolling through Kyoto in a kimono. Every staff member at the kimono rental shop was incredibly welcoming. From the moment we entered, a staff member checked our reservation, then began introducing us to the kimonos. They let us choose our favorite kimono, and if you couldn't decide, they could help you choose, or you could pay extra for a more premium style. I didn't pay any extra here and picked a style I liked. Then, they took me to the changing room to put on the kimono, and after that, they started styling my hair. The whole process was very smooth. Finally, I went out to choose accessories like a bag and an umbrella. The shop is right by the attractions, and you can wear the kimono until 5 PM before returning it. The shop closes at 6 PM, so as long as you arrive before 6 PM, it's fine. I'm so glad I chose this kimono shop!

It was a very nice experience! There was a good selection of kimonos, and the hairstyle included for me was also lovely. The service is great, and the girls are very friendly.

Upon arrival, it felt a bit rushed. They showed us other kimono options that cost extra, but I decided to stick with the one I originally picked. Once we chose our outfits, we went into the dressing room. There are 8 hairstyles you can choose from. While we were changing, they opened the door and added another person into the same room without warning us. It's not a big deal for me, but it could feel a little invasive for people who are more conservative, so just something to be aware of. You can rent the kimono until 5 PM. They have a system for belongings. You'll have a small decorative purse to carry essentials like your phone, cash, and lipstick for the day. When you return, they'll bring you back to the dressing room and quickly help you unchange. The photographer was nice. Photos came out great! We walked about 5–10 minutes to different photo spots, and she sent us the pictures via Google Drive the next day.

First, the location is excellent, near Yasaka Shrine, and easily accessible from the subway, making it convenient to go anywhere. Second, the staff speaks Chinese, so there are no communication barriers (unlike shops without Chinese-speaking staff where you have to guess what they're saying). The main thing I want to praise is the kimonos; they are truly exceptionally beautiful. We found a similar style online that required an upgrade with an additional charge. After reluctantly upgrading, I felt it was absolutely the right choice, and even then, it was still a great value. Previously, when researching other kimono shops, a similar pure silk set would cost over 40,000 Japanese Yen, but here we saved a full 30%. I was also very satisfied with the service at the shop; the staff helped me pair various obis, and the hairstylist was very meticulous with my hair. The whole process took about an hour and a half (we did our own makeup, which I recommend doing yourself to save money). Thanks to the staff's help, I will definitely recommend this place to my friends.
