This activity was a great experience. The staff service was excellent, and there were many kimono sets to choose from. We booked the basic package, which was already very beautiful. If you want a minimalist style, you need to pay extra, and for beautiful hairstyles, it's an additional 1650 yen. We also opted for the hairstyle, which was done quickly and beautifully. Having someone help with dressing was very convenient. Free rental of bags and shoes is also available.

Klook is cheaper as the basic package costs 3000 yen in all shops there. I didn't top up, but the choices were really limited (less than 20 to 30 pieces) for basic kimonos, and most of the colors were a bit too much.

The location is excellent, very close to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. The staff are all very enthusiastic and lovely, and many of them speak Chinese. English communication is also available, and there are quite a few European and American guests, so there's no need to worry about communication issues. I purchased an affordable kimono, and the selection was decent, not as limited as I imagined; it was certainly enough for me to choose from. There's absolutely no need to reserve styles in advance, as there are so many styles available in the shop. The hairstyles are also beautiful. I booked a travel photographer, who was very professional, and I received the original photos on the same day. I couldn't wait to leave a review. Overall, it's definitely worth the price.

It's highly recommended to try wearing a kimono, but be prepared to spend some money! Not to mention the original package cost plus makeup. Because kimono upgrades cost money, and hairstyle upgrades also cost money! Even if someone next door isn't satisfied with their coordination and wants to change their obi, it costs money. If you're Taiwanese, it's quite friendly because many people in the whole shop can speak Chinese, so you don't have to worry about language communication problems. The makeup artist is also very attentive and will coordinate with the kimono you choose. Don't worry, money can solve all problems.

There are so many kimonos! The entire first floor is dedicated to kimonos, making selection super easy. 4. The store layout is very logical: you choose clothes and get your hair styled on the first floor, and the changing rooms are on the second floor. I highly recommend this store, and I hope the business continues to thrive!

This was my first time in Kyoto for a kimono photoshoot. Since I wasn't familiar with the location of kimono shops, I chose this one near Kiyomizu-dera Temple. It's a street-side shop, quite easy to find. There weren't many tourists in Kyoto overall, so the kimono shop wasn't crowded either. First, regarding the price, Klook indeed offers great discounts – genuinely substantial ones, about 30% cheaper than in-store prices. The service was also impeccable; they were able to resolve most of my questions. Highly recommended!
