I seriously recommend this Kimono rental service. It's my third time with a group here, but I must admit "Rental Kimono First" is a serious upgrade compared to previously chosen ones. The staff is very communicative, helpful, and attentive. Their shop is really spacious and very clean. The selection is really wide, and the clothing is in really good condition, smelling fresh and looking nice. They also offer some underclothes, which are really useful during colder days. I will definitely come back here with my next groups.

My friend and I had a great experience enjoying Kyoto in Kimonos from THE FIRST. The double kimono package is very cost-effective, and this shop includes makeup and styling. For someone like me who struggles with makeup, the makeup had a miraculous transformative effect, looking nothing like a typical studio photo. Plus, the shop offers free hairstyles, so if you don't have specific requirements for your hair, you don't really need to purchase the add-on for hairstyling. Highly recommended, go for it!

It was a really nice experience. Despite being an hour and a half late, they still served us very well, and everything was really good. There are a lot of different kimonos and handbags to choose from. All of them are really beautiful, and we loved it. I highly recommend everyone to rent a kimono from this shop because everything is excellent and all the kimonos are beautiful.

My sister and I had a really great time here. The shop was really clean and pleasing to the eyes, and the attendants were so nice and welcoming. I originally paid for a Kimono. But, given than it was very hot today (31C!), I was advised that it would be better for me to choose a premium Yukata. There was a good assortment for this kind! I loved the Obaasan who dressed me! She was so kind; the shop attendants called her a “professional”. And she was very meticulous! Even though I didn’t speak much Japanese, she was still so kind as to converse with me. Highly recommended!

Great kimono selection, a very clean and welcoming place, and incredibly friendly, professional staff who did an excellent job with the styling and dressing.
