I seriously recommend this Kimono rental service. It's my third time with a group here, but I must admit "Rental Kimono First" is a serious upgrade compared to previously chosen ones. The staff is very communicative, helpful, and attentive. Their shop is really spacious and very clean. The selection is really wide, and the clothing is in really good condition, smelling fresh and looking nice. They also offer some underclothes, which are really useful during colder days. I will definitely come back here with my next groups.

It was a rare and unforgettable experience, and both my daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Although the weather was a bit hot, the inner garments under the kimono were completely soaked. We found this shop online, and both the interior and exterior matched the pictures we saw. This shop is also larger, tidier, and cleaner than others, with two floors providing ample space for every customer. We felt very comfortable inside and were at ease wearing their kimonos. We arrived at the kimono shop at our reserved time, and the staff greeted us warmly and friendly. Because we had made an early reservation, they had our details recorded in a book. Upon our arrival, they simply checked the information in the book, so there was no need for the pre-downloaded QR code. Some staff spoke Japanese, others English. When they learned we were from Hong Kong, a Mandarin-speaking staff member immediately came over to assist us. They have a wide variety of kimono styles and colors, neatly hung on racks. There are plenty of options for men, women, and children, and they even have the most luxurious silk furisode. The sheer number of kimono styles can make choosing difficult, but the staff will recommend suitable options and help you match a belt and handbag. We paid extra for a more elaborate hairstyle, and the stylist meticulously styled our hair and added hair ornaments. If you need makeup, they also provide cosmetics. On the second floor, there are private rooms where dedicated staff helped us put on the kimonos, layer by layer, in a very orderly fashion. Most kimono shops require customers to return the kimonos by 5 or 5:30 PM, but this shop's return time is 6 PM, which gives us ample time if we want to travel further to Gion or other shrines for photos. I am very satisfied with this experience, and the cost was not excessive. I would recommend this kimono shop.

Sufficient variety of furisode! I booked the premium plan, and in the store, there were many options at a higher price point, but the range I paid for had so many beautiful choices that it was hard to decide. Then I chose the matching obi and ornament (with quite a bit of help). It was tied very well, without cutting off my breath, as comfortable as a kimono can be. I loved the experience!
