Lovely staff and all very meticulous, magnificent kimonos (including one with cat designs), an incredible hairstyle in just a few minutes. It's well worth the price even if you don't keep the kimono all day, and even if you find something a little cheaper elsewhere, I recommend coming here to take your most beautiful photos.

Went here today with my fiancé and got the Royal treatment. We got to pick out our kimonos, belt and purse/bag. The workers brought us in the back and got us all dolled up. They did my hair and put cute fake flowers in it. The price was very cheap and worth every penny. Recommend this for everyone!

If you book the cheapest price, there will be very limited options, but everything is worth it. Just make sure you also book for hair styling. You can wear the kimono around Kyoto all day until 5 PM before they close. Feel pretty and blend with the vibes of Kyoto.

The whole process was very easy! First, you choose your kimono (the selection of kimonos is small if you don't wish to pay extra for nicer ones), then you choose your belt. After that, they do a simple hairstyle for you (you can pay 1500 yen for a nicer one), then you choose your shoes and a bag! The weather was very cold, so I couldn't wear it for too long, but it was a great experience :)
