We availed the buy-one-get-one (B1G1) offer via Klook, and it was very easy and convenient to use. The atmosphere is good, and so is the staff; they are kind and attentive. I loved the food! The unlimited oysters are a must-try 😋. 100% satisfied and highly recommended for everyone to try. 💙

I recently dined at the lunch buffet and was thoroughly impressed! The variety of food choices was outstanding, featuring delicious options like oysters, sashimi, congee, soup, barbecued dishes, and an array of desserts. The quality of the food was quite high, making the experience well worth it.

If the service I received is the norm in Hong Kong, then it's 5-star; when compared to Canada, it's just so-so. At the cashier counter, it was easy to get in with a QR code scan…but I was led to a table outside the bathroom WHEN there were other tables available that could seat four…their reason was that there weren't many of those tables, which was an absolute lie. The food was okay; the Boston lobster was overcooked, the large head shrimp was mushy (a freshness issue)…the menu listed Australian barley-fed shoulder, but sirloin was served at the carving station. The emerald whelk was slightly undercooked with slimy ends, and the tom yum soup was worse than one made at home using paste. The star item was the lamb chops. The price of $70 CAD for the variety of food is a great price, but it lacked service and the taste of the food.

This experience was truly excellent value for money. We ordered the lunch buffet through Klook. There were unlimited freshly shucked oysters, which, although a bit thin, were fresh and sweet. The chef was very friendly. The ribeye steak was tender and flavorful. The seafood soup with spring onion, shrimp, tofu, grouper, and scallops was incredibly fresh and sweet. The Singapore Laksa soup base for the noodles was also very fresh and sweet. The salmon was average, but the tuna was fatty, fresh, and sweet. The desserts were also delicious, especially the lemon tart which was very zesty. Movenpick ice cream cups were unlimited! This experience was a pleasant surprise; for such a price, to have so much food and such good service. The only minor point is that only coffee, black tea, and milk tea were unlimited; it would have been perfect with fruit juice and soda. We will definitely visit again!

Normally, on Facebook pages or some websites, whenever I ask people if the buffet at Courtyard by Marriott Sha Tin is good, everyone says not to go. But I happened to find it for just over three hundred dollars per person, which isn't too expensive, so I decided to give it a try! First, let's talk about the cold dishes. The crab roe from the bread crab was delicious, the king crab was normal, and the quality of the cold lobster was excellent. The sashimi chef was very polite, and the sashimi was very fresh. The oysters were a bit thin. The most amazing thing was the steamed lobster 😂 it was incredibly delicious, and it was unlimited! But it seems like less than a month after we went, they stopped serving steamed lobster 😂😂😂 The lamb chops and other dishes were normal. They had a huge steamed Sabah grouper on display, and again, it was normal 😂 I must mention their desserts, especially those small cookies. They were so good that I can honestly say I've never encountered cookies this delicious in any other place 😂 Movenpick ice cream was all-you-can-eat 👏👏 However, by around 8 PM, the cold seafood was no longer refilled, so it's really best not to go too late. Another thing worth trying is their hot stir-fried dishes; they have great wok hei and are well-seasoned. You don't need to waste space trying the noodles and pasta 😂 If you go, remember to definitely try the cookies and waffles shown in my last photo. Their desserts can truly be described as professional 😂 I really need to set the record straight for this hotel regarding the previous negative reviews! I suspect they might have changed chefs 😂 And their seating is very comfortable, not cramped at all 👍

The restaurant's food, ambiance, and prices were all excellent. The waitstaff were quick to clear plates, and everything was done to satisfaction. The only major disappointment was the male restaurant manager, who wore glasses. There was clearly a backup birthday cake sign placed at the dessert station, and when I asked him for one, he rudely said that if I hadn't booked it, I couldn't have it, and refused to give it to me. Eventually, the dessert lady gave it to me after he left, which was commendable. That restaurant manager, even before all the guests had left at 9 PM, went to the roast goose station and cut himself a roast duck leg to eat, and then went to the noodle stall to cook himself some noodles, as if it were his own home. But the guests hadn't all left yet, and the area hadn't been cleared. His attitude was appalling. The hotel really needs to consider removing these bad apples.

The buffet selection isn't extensive, but it's decent. However, compared to the cold dishes, the hot dishes are truly outstanding, with the Peking duck and steamed grouper being particularly noteworthy. The Peking duck pancakes were just the right thickness, easy to bite, and had a hint of smoky flavor. Coupled with freshly roasted duck skin that was crispy and meat that was fragrant, the taste and texture were superb. On the other hand, the desserts, both in variety and taste, didn't meet expectations and were relatively disappointing. It's worth mentioning that it was Valentine's Day when we dined, and we appreciated the restaurant's thoughtful gesture of giving each table a rose.

The location along the railway line is excellent, and the food variety and quality are good, offering great value for money. The seafood soup rice is very fresh and delicious, containing fish maw, small scallops, abalone slices, and clams. Among the basic sashimi types, there are also large scallops. The restaurant's interior design is elegantly minimalist, with various spacious and comfortable seating arrangements. Plates are changed quickly, and the service staff are sincere and attentive, especially Manager Mr. Leung. Last time, he helped with a table reservation over the phone, and this time he even assisted in arranging a last-minute birthday mini-cake. Overall, the experience was very good, and I will definitely come back to enjoy the food again.
