You can just go and queue with the QR code! The queue will open punctually, and the queuing speed is very fast, but it is recommended to go a little earlier to queue! The earlier you go in, the earlier you reach the top, and the more time you will have for photos, because everyone in the same batch has the same amount of time. People queuing at the back will really have less time for photos. I was queuing at the back that day, and not long after reaching the top, they started clearing the area, so I didn't have time to take photos slowly! But the view from the top is really super beautiful! It's very worthwhile! Climbing the stairs is actually not as tiring as imagined. Don't be scared by the number of steps and miss the beautiful scenery on the top floor. Anyone with normal legs can climb up smoothly! On the day of your reserved time, you can visit other attractions included in the package. For example, I had reserved 3:00 PM to climb the dome that day, and I went to climb the bell tower at 8:30 AM without a reservation. I just scanned the QR code and entered smoothly. The bell tower is not difficult either. There are rest platforms every short section, and there is no time limit, so you can climb slowly and take photos slowly. However, there is a wire mesh at the top of the bell tower, so the photos are not as beautiful as from the dome.

The exchange point was clearly described, but there are many entrances to the Florence Cathedral, and with so many people queuing, it's easy to get blocked. Once inside, there was no one to guide us, so we followed the route ourselves. At a certain level, we couldn't proceed further for some reason and had to wait for it to open. However, this gave us a good opportunity to admire The Last Judgment. Overall, it wasn't as tiring as I expected, and I felt very satisfied to have completed the visit.

If you have a reservation to go to the church dome, you must arrive at the meeting point 10 minutes before your scheduled time. A dedicated staff member will take you up. If you are late, you will have to queue with general admission tickets. After descending from the church dome, you will exit the church directly and cannot enter the church for a visit immediately. If you wish to visit the church, you must join the queue for those with admission tickets; there is no skip-the-line privilege. However, this queue is much shorter than the free admission queue.
