Greater Tokyo Pass

It's very useful. I used it to travel from Narita Airport to the city center, then to Kawagoe, Yokohama, Nikko, Enoshima, Ashikaga Flower Park, and various parts of Tokyo. However, you need to plan your routes carefully and combine it with JR (around 300 yen) to reach many places. It might take a little longer than simply using a transportation card, but considering the time spent navigating unfamiliar routes, it doesn't actually add much time. You also get to experience different train lines. The downside is that when buying tickets for multiple people, you can't split the tickets among others; only the purchaser's phone can display the e-ticket, so you have to travel together. Additionally, you need to show it to station staff. At unmanned stations, you have to use the intercom to tell the staff how many people are using the Greater Tokyo Pass to enter and exit, which takes a bit more time.

Pros: Extremely cost-effective for long-distance travel! Covers Narita/Haneda airport transfers, and trips to nearby areas like Mount Takao, Kawagoe, and Enoshima. Just two extra trips make it worthwhile, plus unlimited subway and bus rides within the city. Cons: Absolutely cannot use JR lines; fully electronic system requires using manned gates, which can be tiring when queues are long at small stations or during peak times; group purchases cannot split tickets, requiring collective action; additional fees apply for express trains.

Using this pass saved me a lot of money because I used it in my entire stay in Tokyo. It made me go to Kawagoe, Kamakura, and many other places covered by the pass. The only downside of this pass is that sometime s and on early in the morning, there is no station attendant so I had to call using the intercom to use the pass.

I love this pass. The first day was a little difficult because sometimes there was no staff near the gate. We had to call a staff member using the machine and show the pass through the camera, and then they would let us enter the gate. For the next 5 days, it was easy to use, and I even used this pass to go to Narita Airport. I will definitely use this pass again next time.

When you go inside Tokyo and outside, it's quite useful, but sometimes JR trains are quicker. However, you just pay for them or take other options. I would say it's useful when you travel greater distances every day.

If you're planning a cherry blossom viewing trip and frequently use private railways, I highly recommend purchasing this pass. Although you have to go to a manned counter, which can be a bit inconvenient, it usually takes no more than 5 minutes to resolve (at major stations). However, since not many people use it yet, some new staff at certain stations might not recognize it and you may need to use keywords or explain it to them.

Klook's Greater Tokyo Pass was incredibly convenient and well worth it for exploring Tokyo and its surrounding areas. It saved us a lot on transportation and made traveling hassle-free since we didn't need to buy tickets every time. The coverage is extensive, especially for day trips, but please note that it doesn't include JR lines and you might need to use manned gates. Overall, it's a great option if you plan to move around a lot. Highly recommended!

Simply open the e-link in the Klook app; there's no need to exchange for a physical ticket. Just show it to the ticket inspector when entering the gate to board. If you're at a gate without an inspector, you can use the intercom outside the ticket center to speak with a staff member, and they will grant you access! Additionally, the transportation options available are extensive. This trip, I not only took the Skyaccess from Narita Airport into Tokyo but also visited Toneri Park, Yokohama, Zushi, and other places!

This pass is very useful, but the only drawback is that you have to go through the manual gate. Sometimes, other stations don't have staff, or the staff have already left for the day, so you have to use the intercom or just go through without assistance. Otherwise, this pass is extremely convenient for visiting Mount Takao, Enoshima, and Kawagoe. Basically, you just show the Tokyo Pass screen on your phone. You can depart from Narita Airport Terminal 1, 2, or 3 without any additional payment, and there's no charge when you return to your country. The pass is completely free for 5 days from its activation.
