Tour de um dia a Auschwitz-Birkenau saindo de Cracóvia

This was a well organized tour. Thanks for the driver Daniel picking up on time from the hotel in Krakow. It was also easy to follow the local guide to better understand the history of Auschwitz-Burkenau. Highly recommended!

Our tour started earlier than expected, and we had a little panic as we had to think about how to get breakfast. We visited Birkenau first and then the Museum, which I realize should have been the other way around. There was no guide to explain things in Birkenau, so I was a little disappointed, but the visit to the museum went well with a guide and audio. The place is well organized, and it's a great experience. Our driver was on time and we didn't expect to receive two lunch bags, which consisted of sandwiches, fruits, chocolates, juice, and water for us.

The tour was organized by ComFort Tours - they sent a text message the day before to confirm the tour, and it was very detailed. Olek, my driver, also followed up with a text, introducing himself, and had a profile picture so I would recognize him. Just a note that the tour might not start at 8 am, as stated. I believe the tour begins once a slot at the museum is secured, so my pick-up was at 6:20 am. On the day of the tour, the pick-up was very punctual, and Olek introduced himself and explained the tour process when I inquired about it. He also provided an explanation to everyone in our vehicle when we arrived at Auschwitz. There was sufficient time for a short break before the tour started. The tour was led by a museum guide, who took us through the museum. There were several groups, but it didn't feel crowded as the guides ensured their groups were not in the same area simultaneously, allowing us to see everything. Afterward, Olek drove us to the Memorial. Our museum guide met us there and showed us around, providing explanations. He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. At the end of the tour, Olek was there to pick us up at the previously mentioned spot. We were dropped off in the reverse order of pick-up. The vehicle was clean and spacious. It was comfortable to sit in, and Olek is a good driver with good English.

Thank you, Peter, for driving us all day. He was very kind and a true gentleman! He even opened the car doors for us! He drove very smoothly too! The service was very thoughtful, and he never pushed sales or asked for tips during the tour. The guide's explanations were also very detailed, helping us learn more about the history of this place.

Wir haben diese Reise gebucht und einen Reiseleiter erwartet, aber leider teilte uns unser Fahrer bei der Abholung von unserem Hotel mit, dass wir keinen Reiseleiter bekommen würden. Wir verbrachten dann eine Stunde im Van, um in Krakau alle abzuholen. Als wir dort ankamen, waren zwei weitere Vans voller Leute in der gleichen misslichen Lage. Wie Sie sich vorstellen können, waren wir alle nicht sehr erfreut, am Morgen der Tour darüber informiert zu werden, obwohl der Veranstalter uns allen am Tag/Abend zuvor eine Nachricht geschickt hatte, um die Abholzeit zu bestätigen, uns aber nichts über den Reiseleiter mitgeteilt hatte. Einige von uns aus der Tour hatten dem Veranstalter eine Nachricht geschickt, um dies zu hinterfragen, und haben immer noch keine Antwort von ihm erhalten. Glücklicherweise haben wir eine teilweise Rückerstattung von Klook erhalten, aber es wäre schön gewesen, eine Antwort von der Firma zu bekommen. Alles in allem verlief der Transfer von und nach Krakau reibungslos. Ich denke, es wäre für alle einfacher, sich an einem Ort zu treffen und sich das einstündige Herumfahren zu ersparen, um alle abzuholen. Wir haben das Beste aus dem Tag gemacht, aber ich würde empfehlen, sich beim Veranstalter zu erkundigen, ob Sie einen Reiseleiter bekommen (falls er antwortet).

Hotel pickup and drop-off is very convenient, and both the driver and tour guide are very friendly. You can enjoy the full experience as soon as you get in the car.

We participated in a concentration camp tour advertised as seven hours, but the actual experience did not match the description. The total duration was far from seven hours. We arrived at 9 AM, but by 1:15 PM, we were being rushed out. At 1:30 PM, the driver even threatened that if we didn't leave, we'd have to take a public bus back. According to the seven-hour itinerary, we weren't overstaying; in fact, the activity only lasted four and a half hours. Furthermore, the activity description stated that an English guide would be provided. However, at the first concentration camp, the driver told us there was no guide and directed us to the second camp. At the second concentration camp, we had to explore on our own for only an hour and a half, without any guide. When we arrived at the second concentration camp and entered at 11 AM, the tour was conducted in Polish, which no one could understand. Ultimately, we chose to forgo the guided tour and explore on our own. This was completely inconsistent with the promised English tour and was very disappointing. The experience of this activity was very poor. We paid three times the ticket price, only to receive tickets and transportation. I strongly advise against participating in this activity; it would be more cost-effective to purchase tickets and visit on your own.

The place itself is definitely worth a visit, but the tour is overpriced. I guess it's too hard to get a ticket, and they substantially marked up the price. Lunch was not included in the price, which makes their description factually incorrect. The tour guide was not nice and skipped many places in the museum. The tour itself was less than 3 hours.
