visited late Nov, very heavy snow that day. drive was comfortable. Had to wait 2 hrs in the snow for the 8am slot. was very crowed. driver told us to take a train back at our own expense coz she had to wait to bring back other guest. She dropped us at the krakow train station. Trip was definitely still worth it.

It was overall a shocking experience but I think it's totally worth a visit. We started quite early at 8am so I felt quite tired during the whole experience. You can order a lunch box with the agent if you want. The guide was knowledgeable but she spoke quite fast with an accent. I'd recommend to people who like history and want to see it for themselves, however horrifying experience it was.

I had a reservation for 8 AM, but the day before, I was suddenly told it had been changed to 6 AM. Although it was a plan with tickets included, I was made to wait in the cold in the ticket purchase line on the day of the tour. Then, the coordinator bought tickets for an hour later, and we waited for an hour at the restaurant. Regarding transportation, it was very comfortable as we were driven from Krakow to Auschwitz in a van (we were able to put large suitcases in the trunk). As for the tour itself, an Auschwitz staff member, not the coordinator, provided the explanations. There are no food or drinks available once you enter the facility, so you need to purchase them beforehand at the restaurants or vending machines near the entrance/exit. It was a place well worth visiting as a history that should not be forgotten. In the end, I'm glad I booked this tour.

The main female guide from Discover Cracow who was leading us to the location on the bus was really useless; she was a mess. She couldn't offer solutions to problems, didn't really give any tips on the bus, and basically left the tour group on their own, waiting and hanging many times. We were waiting and waiting, and she spoke so softly. The male guide showing us the tour in Auschwitz and Birkenau itself was brilliant in his storytelling and delivery. Overall, this tour is recommended because of the place and the significance it holds for the victims of the Holocaust, and everyone should go there at least once in their life to learn about this disheartening truth of the crimes. For people who are injured and elderly, be aware of the long walks on uneven ground stones and many staircases; I do not recommend it for people who are unable to walk for long.

It was a great journey to have a real-life view of the trauma mankind went through. The trip was convenient, the bus coordinator was sweet, and the bus left on time from the assigned location. Although they changed the pick-up time twice, entry to the Auschwitz museum was seamless, and the guide shared important information and took us around the place, explaining all the details. It was overall a very good experience.
