We booked our tour for 9:30 AM; the night before, we received a text saying there might not be a guide and we could cancel or accept 3-4 AM instead with a complimentary lunchbox! We were obviously not at all happy and reluctantly accepted 4 AM. We then received a text after some time confirming they now had a guide for us and arranged our pick-up for 6:25 AM, which was better. Pick-up was on time, and once we arrived at the minibus at a different point, we left at 6:40 AM, arriving at Auschwitz around 8 AM. Once parked, we were given our tickets/passes and went through security and met with our tour guide, Daria. Daria was amazing! She spoke slowly and clearly and really knew her stuff. She was able to answer questions too. After Part 1 Auschwitz, we had a short break for lunch, which we were very surprised at as the lunchbox was very good! Fresh sandwich, cake, chocolate bar, water, juice, and fruit; perfect👌 Then off to Part 2 Birkenau. It was all in all a very good tour and worth every penny!

Unforgettable, a must-visit attraction in Krakow. To see the traces of history with your own eyes and hear the heartbreaking stories of the concentration camp from that time is truly shocking.

It is amazing to see. A great and mesmerizing experience. If the guide can slow down for the slower walkers and give us some time to actually take a look will be great.

We booked the tour with hotel pick-up instead of waiting at the designated meeting point. Although it's a bit more expensive to choose this option, not having to walk to the meeting point in the cold is a true bonus.

Przewodnik był bardzo zaangażowany i jasno się komunikował. Jego angielski jest łatwy do zrozumienia i zna historię. Komunikacja dotycząca odbioru również była jasna i łatwa do śledzenia. Jedynym minusem jest brak jedzenia w okolicy i bardzo zawyżone ceny za ograniczony wybór posiłków. Tylko jeden sklep oferuje gotowe jedzenie, a reszta to przekąski, które kosztują 3 razy więcej niż w mieście. Cheetosy kosztują 20 zł za paczkę.

Sehr informative Tour, der Reiseleiter war sehr freundlich und sachkundig. Der Fahrer hat mir am Tag zuvor eine Nachricht zur Bestätigung geschickt. Er hat mir auch eine Nachricht geschickt, als er auf dem Weg war. Alles war einfach.

I visit the Muzeum Auschwitz-Birkenau where is full of sad history. However, our tour guide, not sure if he was in hurry or what, he just talked and walked very fast, most of the time, he/our group even passed through other 1 or 2 groups ahead....I wasn't even able to read the messages showing on the walls and the description of each item/area as we needed to chasing his speed/steps! I really wanted to read every single wordings on the walls & all those descriptions because I will only visit this camp/museum once in my lifetime! As I looked at the words on the wall, feeling the sorrow and despair of the people who lived here back then, I had to stop just as my emotions were beginning to rise, because I needed to keep up with the tour guide's pace and speed. My roommate bought ticket directly from the museum and she told me her guide was very good & always wait for the group to finish browsing each detail. She told me she was moved by every piece of history in the concentration camp.
