It was AMAZING ❤️‍🔥! I arrived early and was taken care of right away. The ladies were very welcoming and very kind 🥺. There was a wide selection of beautiful kimonos 🤩🥰! A very nice shop, I recommend it!! Several ladies helped me put on my kimono before giving me a beautiful hairstyle with ornaments. Shoes and a bag of my choice were also provided 🥰. My belongings were kept at the shop while I enjoyed the area. Don't hesitate. Go for it, it's a great establishment 10/10❤️

We had the pleasure of visiting a wonderful kimono rental shop, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome, but especially the lady who attended to us. She was incredibly accommodating, taking the time to explain the different kimono options and helping us choose the perfect ones for our day. She even gave us helpful tips on how to wear the kimono properly and the best ways to take photos in the beautiful surroundings of Arashiyama. Overall, we had an unforgettable experience and highly recommend this kimono rental shop to anyone looking to enjoy traditional Japanese culture in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. It's located on the way to Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, about a 7-minute walk from Saga-Arashiyama Station. I arrived exactly at 10:30 AM as reserved, and it seemed being a bit late for the reservation time wasn't a big deal. The staff who helped me change clothes were very kind, and I could feel the warmth of Kyoto hospitality. Since it was winter, they gave me thermal underwear to wear inside. However, even with that, it's still cold in the dead of winter. I booked with the full lace option, but I don't think it was really necessary, haha. And I loved that the kimono was so beautiful! I recommend not wearing the traditional wooden clogs (geta); my toes hurt too much and my feet got cold. They styled my hair beautifully, but they parted it in a 2:8 ratio, Japanese style, which might not be for everyone. Since I have hair extensions, I only did a 4:6 part, which I preferred, haha. This time I returned it after two hours, but next time I'd like to wear it for a much longer time! I highly recommend it.

Location: Perfect location near Arashiyama Station and also close to the popular attractions in Arashiyama. Staff: They are very friendly, the master sensei is very nice and tourist-friendly, and really knows how to choose the best kimono for their customers. The quality of the kimonos we used was authentic and high-grade. You can choose different kinds of kimonos with sizes from small to extra-large, colors, and designs.

Such an amazing experience! We booked a 90min photography session, and kimono rental. Photographer was ready at the kimono shop once we were done changing. No need to message for one. He spoke Chinese, a little English and Japanese so we didn’t have too much of a language barrier. Our pictures turned out amazing so it was hard to pick some for him to professonally edit. If you’re not use to photoshoots I would definitely practice what kind of smile/ mood you would like for your pictures.

It was a wonderful experience! The staff were all very friendly and actively helped me with styling suggestions when I wasn't sure what to choose. The kimono prices were very reasonable! Being able to wear such beautiful kimonos for photos fulfilled a long-held dream of mine. The elaborate hairstyles were also done beautifully; my friends all complimented them! I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back if I have the chance.

Absolutely, incredibly satisfied... The emotional value was off the charts, I was so, so happy! I'll recommend this place to anyone coming to Japan! The package was great value, the service was patient, gentle, and thoughtful, and the kimono styles were beautiful. There was no forced consumption whatsoever, and you didn't have to lift a finger; there were very professional ladies to help with putting on and taking off the kimono. The hairstyle was super beautiful. I even had foreign friends take my picture in the bamboo grove path – a super pleasant experience. Don't miss this shop, the lace kimonos are just too beautiful!

The staff there gave us a lot of advice on choosing kimonos and hairstyles, helping us pick one that suited our daughter's age and made her look beautiful. It created wonderful memories for her 12th birthday. I sincerely recommend it to everyone.
