About

HEP Five, a shopping complex with specialty shops geared for young people, boasts Kita's most recognizable symbol: a bright red Ferris wheel on its roof. From an air conditioned gondola at the top of the wheel 106 meters above the ground, you can get a splendid view of downtown, of Osaka harbor, and all the way out to Mount Ikoma. Adjacent to HEP Five is HEP Navio, a fashionable shopping complex that also features a Cineplex and restaurants.

Definitely a great observatory experience! The escalator ride was thrilling, but the view from the deck was spectacular! It’s a good thing I booked our tickets in advance because the line was really looooong!

The guide was very friendly and provided lots of detailed information! I would recommend not going when it's too hot, as there's lots of walking.

Although the time was a little rushed, the overall experience was good. Although the tour guide did not speak Chinese and used a translator, his attitude was very good and it is worth recommending.

Visit 3 spots outside city was very ambitious, where you have very limited time at each stop, especially Amanohashidate which the queue for chair lift or monorail took about 30mins each way during Golden week.

It’s very convenient to buy tickets in advance. Go upstairs and go to the dedicated ticket exchange counter on the left. You don’t have to wait at all. The longest queue is waiting for the elevator to go upstairs. I recommend everyone to use Klook.

It is difficult to go to 4 attractions in one day by car, so a day trip is a good idea. The Kinkakuji Temple is beautiful and worth visiting. Personally, I think Arashiyama is just as beautiful.
