JR Thunderbird train ticket (Osaka/Kyoto to Kanazawa)

This is the best option when you want to go to Tateyama Alpine Route. The trip will take 3 hours from Kyoto Station. It is easy to redeem just scan the qr code in the green ticket machine located on Kyoto central gate and just proceed to platform 0 then off you go to your wonderful journey😁

perfect train to ride from Osaka to Toyama. you will need first to retrieve the voucher from Klook via Nippon travel agency then you will have to reserve a seat on the same green machine to be able to travel

One of the fastest way to go from Kyoto to Kanazawa, The Train was comfortable and the Scenery is Wonderful, Had a great time while resting on my seat. The Train departed and arrived on time, the staff are courteous while checking the tickets. Will definitely buy this ticket if I will be ever comeback and explore Kanazawa Again.

There were many English-speaking staff at the ticket exchange platform to assist with the ticket exchange. The ticket exchange was very smooth. I had to exchange two tickets at a time, and then change the seat ticket. I felt that the scenery was better when sitting on the left. Hahaha. The journey was smooth and fast. I fell asleep after looking at the scenery for a while, and arrived in Kanazawa unknowingly. I look forward to the opening of the Shinkansen from Kyoto to Tsuruga, but I heard that it will not be until 2046. Hahaha. I hope I can still wait.

cheaper than buying tickets from the station. only issue was we had to book the seats at the station as it was reserve seating. luckily, the train was not full and the conductor told us to just switch seats if there was someone who has our seats

The fare from Kanazawa to Kyoto is much cheaper than buying it locally in Japan, and you can reserve a seat for free. The ticket exchange office is at the green ticket vending machine on the right side of the west exit of Kanazawa Station. Tickets can only be exchanged at the "7" ticket vending machine with a passport scanner. The ticket exchange is divided into two stages. First, use the electronic ticket barcode and passport provided by KLOOK to exchange for the physical ticket, and then use the physical ticket to reserve a seat at the same ticket vending machine. Up to 4 tickets can be put in at the same time to reserve 4 seats. The ticket vending machine can select Chinese. , follow the on-screen instructions and follow the steps, and you will be able to complete the ticket exchange and seat allocation in no time.
