What to expect

Escape the hustle and bustle of the city center and hop on a trip to explore Amanohashidate and the quaint villages of Northern Kyoto! Experience its traditional village atmosphere, and admire the many hamlets nestled between mountains. Then take a boat ride through Ine no Funaya. This coastal town is famous for its traditional wooden boat houses called 'funaya', which line next to each other along the bay. From the boat, see the dwellings up close. Take a break with a buffet lunch at Amanohashidate Winery! Your last stop is the stunning sandbar of Amanohashidate. This thin strip of land is part of the Tango-Amanohashidate-Oeyama Quasi-National Park, and is named one of the 'Three Views of Japan' and 'Kyoto by the Sea'.
