Bintan

This was my first trip to Bintan Island. It was a day trip from Singapore. I was looking for a day trip tour, and I found the perfect one. Being picked up from the ferry terminal upon arrival was the most reassuring thing. Of course, I was also very satisfied with the tour content. There was a mangrove tour, a desert and blue lake, and lunch included in the original tour, but the guide was quick-witted and suggested things like a safari, coffee, a first honey farm, and a massage. I had a very fulfilling day. I could ask him anything about the island. He even accompanied me on the safari and took pictures. You probably won't find a guide with such a service-oriented attitude very often. I made the right choice in joining this tour without hesitation. Thank you very much.

soort. De dag dat we onze reis hadden, volgens onze reisroute waren er die dag maar 2 van ons. Er waren dus geen andere klanten, dus we hadden de hele dag de hele auto voor onszelf. De chauffeur Anwar hielp ons met het maken van verschillende foto's op verschillende locaties. We hebben er erg van genoten. Tijdens de nachtelijke vuurvliegreis zagen we niet veel vuurvliegjes, maar we hebben ons toch vermaakt. We zagen zoveel sterren. Romantische ervaring.

We hebben een geweldige tijd gehad tijdens deze tour - mooi landschap bij de blauwe lagune / zandduinen (neem zonnebrandcrème en parasols mee, aangezien het weer onvoorspelbaar kan zijn volgens de lokale bevolking), zou aanraden om voor de optionele ATV's te gaan (zowel enkele als 2-persoons ATV's zijn beschikbaar, met lokale bevolking ter plaatse om u te begeleiden en uw veiligheid te waarborgen). Het agentschap nam 1 dag van tevoren contact met ons op met gedetailleerde instructies en onze chauffeur, meneer Eri, arriveerde op tijd om ons op te halen bij het hotel. Hij was vriendelijk, bood aan foto's voor ons te maken en bracht ons naar een alternatieve lunchplek in de buurt van het mangrovemoeras (dat ruimer en beter geventileerd was) omdat de oorspronkelijke locatie volgeboekt was met beperkte zitplaatsen. Het eten was goed en goedkoper dan in de resorts. Het bezoek aan de koffieplantage en de honingbijenboerderij was ook leuk - een welkomstdrankje (jamu), koffie, goreng pisang en roselle-thee zijn inbegrepen in het pakket. Insectenwerend middel is aanwezig. U hoeft zich geen zorgen te maken over steken van bijen, omdat ze geen angel hebben.

Thank you Mr Darul our driver for the great service! He brought us to Blue Lake, Sand Dunes, Brother Kelong Seafood, Sister Bintan Supermarket, and the Buddha statue. Very friendly, helpful, and patient driver. Our trip was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

De mangrove tour was geweldig! De gids gaf een gedetailleerde uitleg over de mangrove en spreekt uitstekend Engels en Mandarijn.

We took a taxi tour to see the fireflies, and we also got to ride a boat. The guide caught fireflies and put them in our hands, which made the children so amazed and entertained. We had a great time watching them.

I saw on the news that Grab service is now available in Bintan, but it seems like the area is somewhat limited (because I turned on Grab in the middle and it said it wasn't available in that area). I felt a bit lost about how to find transportation, so I searched for a day tour and booked it urgently a day before, and I think it was an excellent choice. Because the guide was so, so great!! 🥳 I don't know if it's a random assignment or if only this guide is assigned, but the guide's name was Anwar, and communication was smooth via KakaoTalk even late at night. Before meeting, he carefully gave accurate pick-up location information again, the car was clean, and he prepared bottled water in the car in advance. Oh, and another great thing was that Anwar had a drone and even filmed with it! He said he wasn't a great expert, but I thought he was skilled enough to film, and he even let me fly the drone once, haha. I had a very enjoyable time. Originally, he explained the Chinese temple on the way to Blue Lake and said we'd stop by on the way back, but the last speedboat time was 6 pm, so we had to rush back ㅠㅠㅋㅋㅋ I highly recommend it to anyone planning to go to Bintan!! It's a shame that I can't attach the video! Oh, and you have to get to Bintan Island on your own, and the tour starts from Bintan Island! There are many eagles or owls there, and it's okay to just take pictures, but it seems like you have to pay if you take pictures with them. I was scared, so I didn't do it, but those who are interested should keep that in mind, haha. I went to Blue Lake around 2-4 pm on a weekday, and it was nice because there were no people or sunlight, but they say Blue Lake looks bluer when there is sun. Well, I thought it was good enough.

A fun and exciting trip. The driver was very helpful and punctual. Highly recommended for those who want to go to Bintan.
