This was my first time visiting for the lunch buffet since the restaurant renovation, and it was for a friend's birthday. The food quality was very high, with oysters, king crab legs, sashimi, chilled shrimp, and chilled conch available. While the variety wasn't extensive, freshness was paramount. It was a shame that on a Saturday, the restaurant was only about half full; I hope business improves in the future. The biggest surprise was the bar staff, who made specialty drinks for guests on the spot. Besides regular coffee or tea, she could also prepare iced lattes (no ice, no sugar) or coffee tonics. My friends and I were all very happy, eating and chatting slowly from 12 PM to 2:30 PM. It was a great weekend activity, and I highly recommend everyone try it!

It's a buy-one-get-one-free deal, and for the price of this lunch, there's an unexpectedly large amount of food, so it's no wonder the place was packed. The desserts, in particular, were very thoughtfully prepared and unique, including mango Napoleon, durian pancakes, crème brûlée mochi puffs, taro egg waffles, several kinds of soft cookies, and various Movenpick ice cream flavors. They were truly impressive and delicious. The seafood, such as oysters, shrimp, and clams, was standard, and surprisingly, there were even lobster claws. The salad was good. The hot dishes and Chinese options were average and could be improved. The Japanese sashimi wasn't cut to order; it was pre-cut and available for self-service, and the quality was just okay. Sushi, cold noodles, and similar items weren't particularly exciting. The service was normal. Overall, this meal offered excellent value for money, and I would definitely come again.

The seafood was incredibly fresh, and cold dishes like oysters and bread crabs were replenished extremely quickly; I never saw an empty platter. The hot food selection was diverse, and whether it was roasted beef, roasted lamb leg, flavorful cooked dishes, or delicate dim sum, the seasoning was perfect. You could really feel the dedication of the culinary team. The dessert section was the perfect ending, with a wide selection of ice cream and various exquisite mini cakes, all of which were on par with high-end dessert shops. In summary: The Astor demonstrates exceptionally high standards in terms of ambiance, service, and food, offering excellent value for money. This is definitely a dining experience that makes you want to return again. I highly recommend it to all friends who appreciate great food and excellent service!

This time, I bought a Häagen-Dazs ice cream fondue voucher on Klook during a special offer, and it was incredibly cost-effective! The redemption process was very smooth; I just had to show the QR code at the store, which was convenient and quick. There was a rich variety of ice cream flavors, and they paired perfectly with the rich chocolate sauce. The packaging was exquisite, making it suitable for enjoying at home or as a gift. It was much cheaper than buying it directly at the store. I highly recommend it to friends who love desserts, and I will definitely repurchase it next time there's a promotion!

Most recently, I've been to Tsui Yuen Dim Sum at New Town Plaza in Sha Tin twice. The dim sum was quite good, so when I saw a Klook offer, I bought a coupon. I arrived around 10:30 AM on June 6th, and the staff was very nice. Even though I was early, they quickly seated me. However, the dim sum that day was very disappointing. The fried items weren't hot enough, as if they had been sitting for a while. The skin was dry and soft, not crispy. The har gow and siu mai were even worse. They tasted like frozen, pre-made dim sum bought from a supermarket. The siu mai also had a very strong MSG taste. I wondered if the Klook dim sum was pre-made. I asked the server, who said the kitchen doesn't differentiate between Klook customers and regular diners, but it was very strange; the dim sum that day wasn't like what I usually eat. Nevertheless, the restaurant staff were very polite.

I've always wanted to bring my husband to Felix for the experience. Many years ago, my sister and I came here for drinks, and at the time, I felt the place was quite dark and not as beautiful as I'd imagined. My memory might be a bit hazy now, so this time I specifically came with my husband to celebrate my birthday, and it was a wonderful experience. As soon as we entered the hotel lobby, the lobby manager escorted us directly to the elevator up to the restaurant, and then arranged a window seat for us, which was very thoughtful. Although I specifically called ahead to arrange it, the hotel did their best to accommodate my request, so I was very satisfied. As for the food, it was, of course, exceptional. The seafood in the seafood tower was very fresh. The dish that truly amazed me was the hot appetizer—the duck breast. The skin was crispy, and the meat inside was tender, almost like eating roast goose, not at all like the dry texture usually associated with duck breast. It was incredibly delicious. Besides that, the ambiance was excellent; we enjoyed our meal while looking out at the night sea view. All the staff that evening were very friendly, and finally, they presented me with birthday chocolates. It was truly a perfect start to the evening and a wonderful dining experience. This was an incredibly high-value experience. The food quality was excellent; the lobster was very fresh and sweet, and even the grilled oysters weren't tough. The Chinese chef at this buffet seemed particularly skilled; even simple siu mai demonstrated a deep level of expertise. The restaurant also provided each person with a fish maw soup dumpling. All the hot Chinese dishes were delicious, and the Southeast Asian dishes were also very flavorful. There was a wide variety of food choices. This package also included unlimited sparkling wine, and the timing was very generous, allowing us to dine until 10 PM. It's a highly recommended experience! 👍🏻
