It is a bit pricey, but with its pretty garden and the feeling of being well-cared for, it's a restaurant that parents would love. We made a reservation in advance so we were able to get right in, and after eating, going right next door to Blue Bottle for coffee was just perfect.

I recommend buying the Tofu Skin Hot Pot to get the soy milk pot; the tofu skin is incredibly delicious. The earthenware pot on the small stove in the picture is for the tofu meal, and it contains 6 pieces of tofu soaking in water. Overall, it's good, but the all-tofu meal can be a bit heavy. The entire meal is meat-free, with only one scallop, but it's very fresh and sweet! The staff's attitude is excellent, and if you buy a set meal here, you won't have to pay again later. I was surprisingly full.

Excellent food, awesome ambience and beautiful presentation. It’s a must do experience although a little expensive compared to other such lunch around Kyoto.

Art! The chef was masterful. The presentation of each dish was beautiful. The staff were professional and sweet. My fellow diners were friendly and kind. It was a special evening that I will not soon forget.

क्योटो आने पर आपको स्थानीय टोफू व्यंजन ज़रूर आज़माने चाहिए। दुकान के कर्मचारी बहुत दोस्ताना और विनम्र थे। रेस्तरां का बगीचा और वास्तुकला भी बहुत सुंदर है। भीड़भाड़ वाले निनेज़ाका में ऐसी खूबसूरत जगह पर बैठकर भोजन करना अपने आप में एक शानदार अनुभव है। मुझे मिसो ग्रिल्ड टोफू बहुत पसंद आया, जिसके ऊपर हरी चटनी टोफू के साथ बहुत अच्छी लग रही थी। टोफू पॉट में कोई अतिरिक्त मसाला नहीं था, और सूप एक साधारण समुद्री शैवाल का टुकड़ा था। टोफू का स्वाद अपने आप में थोड़ा हल्का था। मुझे उम्मीद है कि रेस्तरां अधिक व्यंजनों के साथ सेट मेनू पेश करेगा, जिससे भोजन का अनुभव और भी बेहतर हो जाएगा।

मुख्य क्योटो स्टेशन से थोड़ी ही पैदल दूरी पर ऐसी भव्यता और आधुनिकता। कमरे बहुत साफ थे और कर्मचारी उत्कृष्ट थे।
