Hanoi Cultural experiences

This was such a great class. It didn’t even feel like “learning”, it felt like old friends catching up despite us meeting for the very first time. Lynn (our instructor) was very friendly and made sure everyone had something to do. She made the class fun and engaging. I enjoyed every moment.

A very fun experience for us, we get to hands on make the baguette and this is the first time making a bread from scratch. We also learn alot about the Vietnam coffee. Alex is so friendly and make the class so much fun.

This was one of my favourite experiences in Hanoi. The local market tour was a great way to learn about Vietnamese ingredients before heading back to cook. The instructors were friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel welcome, even if you had very little cooking experience. We made several delicious traditional dishes, and the recipes were explained clearly so I can recreate them at home. Everything was well organised, the kitchen was clean, and the atmosphere was fun and relaxed. I left with a full stomach, new cooking skills, and a much better understanding of Vietnamese cuisine. The food was absolutely delicious and has definitely made me want to eat Vietnamese food again when I get home. I would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Hanoi.

Since I was the only person who signed up for the class this time, the instructor taught me one-on-one. I was worried because I'm not very good at English, but at all the key moments, the instructor used a translation app to explain the ingredients and how to make the dishes. We actually went shopping at the market (they even bought me sweets!), and after the lesson, they sent me photos, videos, and even the recipes. Not only do you get to eat delicious food from that country, but learning how to make it makes traveling even more enjoyable! I definitely recommend this experience to anyone who loves cooking! I can't wait to try making the dishes at home while remembering this experience!! It was such a wonderful lesson that leaves you feeling that way!

An absolutely fantastic experience—I'd say it was perfect! From the morning market shopping session, to the pick-up and drop-off transport, to the cooking venue and the staff's attitudes—everything deserves full marks from me!! The dishes we made were incredibly delicious too haha, and I also made a lot of new friends;) It was my last day in Hanoi, and I'm so glad I chose Dine with Locals~

Piey is so well versed in Vietnamese coffee culture. Great personality for such an inclusive deep dive into coffee and how it's made. I recommend her 1000%. The small class size makes the experience a bigger plus.

I learned a lot of new things about perfume and how it made. My instructor really help my find my own scent - she’s very detailed and very passionate. I recommend this kind of unique activity whenever you go to Hanoi. It’s so fun!!!

I had a wonderful experience with the Ao Dai costume rental and photography service in Hanoi! The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in choosing the perfect Ao Dai. There were many beautiful designs and colors to choose from, and the costumes were clean and well-maintained. The photography service was also excellent. The photographer was professional, patient, and knew how to guide me with poses and positioning. They also brought me to beautiful locations that really captured the charm and atmosphere of Hanoi. I absolutely loved the photos—the quality, composition, and natural-looking poses exceeded my expectations. The whole experience was enjoyable, from choosing the costumes to the actual photoshoot. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Vietnam who wants to experience wearing a traditional Ao Dai and have beautiful photos to remember the trip! 🇻🇳📸✨
