My friend and I really enjoyed this ski trip. We are both first timers but our ski instructor, Ethan, was so patient with us and even let us choose our gear of choice. He made the ski trip enjoyable. He went above and beyond! Thanks, Ethan! Our guide, Alvin, was funny, lively and caring. This trip is worth every penny! Will definitely book again.

This was my first time skiing in Korea with my husband, and we decided to go straight for the cool snowboard. Coach Xiao Pang explained everything carefully, from the very beginning of putting on/wearing the snowboard, how to get up, and the tricks of skiing, sharing in a simple and easy-to-understand way why we should do it this way, and the possible risks of different methods. At first, the coach will help you get up and move forward, and after practicing, you can go to the beginner's slope to play by yourself~ Although you still fall after a short distance, after a few tries you slowly get a little bit of the feeling! It’s my first Ski experience and I am happy about the experience. Patrick, our tour guide was very hands on with the training and also making sure no one was left behind. The restaurant he recommended for lunch was Halal compliant and i personally appreciated that, I enjoyed the free snacks tasting and souvenir shopping too.

We had an amazing experience during our Snowy Land Vivaldi Park tour! Everything was well-organized, smooth, and enjoyable from start to finish. Our tour guide, Branden, was very diligent, professional, and attentive to everyone in the group. He gave clear instructions, patiently assisted us, and made sure we were safe and comfortable in the snowy weather. Because of him, our winter adventure was fun and completely stress-free. ⛷️❄️Hongcheon Daemyung Ski Resort Full-Day Fun｜From Morning Till Night🔥 Day 3 of our 6-day, 5-night ski trip, our family set off early to Hongcheon Daemyung Ski Resort (Vivaldi Park Ski World). We played from 11 AM to 6 PM, which was a real test of endurance, but the kids didn't want to leave🤣 Overall rating 4⭐️, with some room for improvement. 🎿 Ski Resort Features Hongcheon Daemyung Ski Resort is one of the largest ski resorts in Korea, with complete facilities and clear slope classifications: ✔ Beginner slope (suitable for beginners and children) ✔ Intermediate slope ✔ Advanced slope ✔ Night skiing sessions The site management is orderly, the cable car frequency is high, and the overall operation is mature. The ski resort, resort mall, restaurants, and supermarket are concentrated in the same area, making it very convenient. If you don't want to just ski, the park also has Hongcheon Daemyung Snowyland where you can experience snow entertainment activities. 🕒 Suggested Time Budget ⚠️ Be sure to allow at least 1 hour to handle: • Ticket exchange • Equipment rental • Changing ski boots • Using the Locker Queuing time will increase during peak hours, especially on weekends and holidays, so arrive early. 🔐 Locker Precautions How to use the Locker: 1️⃣ Pay at the self-service machine (cash or credit card) 2️⃣ Set a password to lock 3️⃣ Save the password or take a photo record ⚠️ Key reminder: The Locker can only be locked once, and you need to pay again if you need to use it after unlocking. This is indeed not very user-friendly and deducts points for family travelers who need to frequently retrieve items. 🚗 Location and Transportation The ski resort is located in Hongcheon-gun, Gangwon-do, South Korea, about 1.5 hours' drive from Seoul. 🚘 Driving is the most convenient 🚌 You can take a ski shuttle bus directly from downtown Seoul to the resort 🚇 You can also take the subway and transfer to a bus (longer time) Overall, transportation is convenient, and it is also a popular weekend ski destination for many Seoul residents. ✨ Summary Hongcheon Daemyung Ski Resort has complete facilities, is large in scale, and has complete entertainment facilities. The locker system is a slight drawback, but the overall experience is still positive. The most important thing is that the children have fun, and the family can create memories together in the snow. This one-day trip was so much fun! It's a very good ski resort. The area is wide, easy to play in, safe, and really fun! If I have the opportunity next time, I will definitely visit again. I definitely wasn't disappointed in choosing this tour. Guide: Lovely, gives great recommendations and takes very good care of us. Very impressed!

Ski equipment: The equipment is clean and complete, but ski suits and goggles are not included and need to be rented separately. Experience: The resort's all-inclusive package includes morning and evening skiing, which is cost-effective and allows you to experience Korean skiing all day long.

Highlight of our korea trip. Very exciting and fun trip. Stopped at eobi ice village to take some photos and sightseeing. Went to ski suit rental shop after, rented ski suit and helmets. Arrived at ski resort after. Even as a first timer, booked the lift option together with the basic lesson. Trainer kevin was amazing and helped very much as we were a small group of 3. He was also friendly and funny. 5 stars for him. Lift option was great choice because you can explore 2 more beginner slopes compared to the moving walk. Also taking the lift was very exciting. Pick up and drop off was very convenient at main areas in seoul city centre.

We had a great trip to Phoenix Pyeongchang Snow Park. The journey was punctual and the ride was smooth, although traffic made the return slightly longer. Everything was still well organized. Our guide, David, was friendly and communicated clearly in both English and Chinese, which made the experience easy and comfortable. The basic snowboarding lesson was good and helpful for beginners. If time allows, I would recommend the full 2-hour lesson for better improvement and confidence. The resort is big and well-equipped. Since we went near the end of the season, the snow wasn’t very powdery, but it was not crowded, which was nice. We also took the gondola to the top of the mountain. The ride was scenic, but there wasn’t much at the summit. If you take the advanced slope, you will reach the same top by ski lift, so the gondola isn’t necessary unless you want the view. Overall, it was a pleasant and enjoyable trip.
