Fantastic 5.0
The instructor gave us a lot of freedom. After teaching the basic techniques, we started right away. The entire creation process was self-directed, and the instructor offered tips to enhance the results, allowing our work to have its own unique style. The studio provided tools such as wooden scrapers, paints, and brushes, all of which were clean and hygienic. Everyone was focused, making it easy to concentrate while doing pottery here. I'm very satisfied with this experience.

It was an amazing experience. We learned how to blend different scents based on our personal preferences while exploring the unique character of each fragrance. The process of discovering, smelling, and creating our own perfume was both fun and memorable. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who loves perfume.

The instructor was very gentle and taught with great care. When appropriate, they helped students adjust their work and explained the process. If you wanted to make a special shape, they wouldn't just refuse outright; instead, they would explain how to make it, along with any potential risks and the final outcome. They also took photos of the students to remember the experience. It was a really great trip!

The Maxim's Dim Sum Class is so much fun, I highly recommend it! This is my second time attending. Today, we made a dim sum that's not commonly found everywhere anymore: vegetarian shark fin dumplings. They were incredibly delicious! The whole process was very enjoyable, and the chef taught every detail with great care. We also learned to make mini egg tarts, which were absolutely amazing – you can't find ones this good anywhere else. And there were coconut tarts too! I highly recommend everyone to join. A special thank you to Master Kwan, a truly dedicated, witty, and humorous master chef who meticulously taught us every detail.

We booked just the qipao/suit rental with makeup and hair services. since we were unsure if the weather was going to be good, we asked if we could book the photoshoot. luckily, they were able to accommodate and the entire experience was amazing! the lady that did my makeup and hair did a great job, and the photographer made us feel comfortable. we got to choose our 20 edited photos at the end, and I can say that the photos turned out great! Definitely recommend this experience! the whole thing from choosing our attire, getting makeup and hair done, and the photoshoot took 2hours.

It's really worth participating! Thanks to the instructor for the detailed explanation. There are many choices for engraving patterns, styles, and textures, and practice materials are provided so you can practice before making the final product. You can do every step yourself. Before using the machines, the instructor also reminded us to tie up long hair, which shows excellent safety awareness. However, if you're worried about dust while polishing, you might want to bring a mask to wear if needed. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the final product!

What to know before visiting Hong Kong

What to expect in Hong Kong

Hong Kong draws travellers for its Theme parks, Events & shows and Observation decks, with Museums and family-friendly Playgrounds rounding out top activity types according to Klook booking data. Demand follows an annual rhythm: January sees the busiest bookings while October is notably quieter. Visitors can expect lively public events and high attendance at major attractions in Peak demand months, and calmer sightseeing in Quieter than usual periods. For a travel decision about timing, choose between peak-season atmosphere or quieter, lower-price months based on whether you prioritise festivals and crowds or relaxed sightseeing. Klook booking data informs these patterns.

Best months to visit and price trends

January is the peak booking month while October is the quietest month, and prices move differently across the year: the priciest month by typical paid price is August while December shows the lowest typical price. That means demand and prices sometimes diverge — January is busier but not the priciest, and August is the costliest even though bookings are only about average — so travelers who want smaller crowds and lower prices should lean toward December, while those after festival atmosphere should target January. Overall, visit in lower-price, quieter months or pick peak-month energy if you prefer buzz.

Month Demand Level Typical Price

Demand is bookings in that month compared with a typical month, from historical Klook booking data, grouped into the demand levels above; typical price is the median paid on Klook in that month; prices are shown with their currency code. Based on Klook booking data, July 2025 – June 2026.

Where to stay around the city

Hotel prices on Klook show a clear range across districts: Central and Western District is typically the most affordable with a median nightly rate of around USD 71, while Islands District is typically the priciest at around USD 232 — roughly 69% more expensive than Central and Western District according to Klook booking data. Cheaper districts tend to suit travellers prioritizing budget and convenience for city-centre sightseeing or families keeping costs lower, while pricier districts suit those seeking resort-style stays or more spacious rooms. Klook booking data underpins these typical nightly-price comparisons.

Tips for travellers from the United States

Most travellers from the United States book experiences fairly close to travel dates — on average about 2 days ahead — with the earliest planners booking roughly 12 days out, according to Klook booking data. That means you can often keep plans flexible, but during January and other busier times it pays to lock in popular activities earlier. Use Klook to compare typical prices and secure tickets or timed entries for peak months; booking a bit in advance for top attractions helps ensure availability while still letting you adapt your itinerary.
