Relaxing and beautiful facility! Highly recommend for a quiet and restful hot spring soak in a private and serene resort.

The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the public hot spring baths are very well maintained. Breakfast is a bit simple, but everything tastes good when you're enjoying the river view. There are restaurants and convenience stores nearby. Aside from having to climb stairs, I can't find any faults.

Second visit and still very satisfied. The hotel staff is warm and welcoming. The one-night, two-meal package is excellent value for money. The room has a comfortable hot spring tub. The mattress is just the right firmness. Breakfast and dinner were filling and satisfying (be sure to choose the Chinese breakfast, and my family recommends the sesame oil hot pot for dinner). The sausages and freshly made millet mochi in the old street were also great. A truly enjoyable and relaxing trip, and Wulai has become a regular stop on our trips north.

Such a lovely experience! We mixed up our booking but they accommodated us anyways, and being in a foreign country that made us feel very supported. Great location, great rooms, great views!

5 stars for everything!! You HAVE to book this tour if you visit Taiwan. Tommy leads the tour and he gave us the best day. He’s very talented at switching between speaking in Chinese and English equally to share wonderful information. He reminds me of a teacher. I traveled with my 65 year old mother who walks with a cane, but still has the energy and fights through her bad knees. Tommy gave us so much time in each location to explore and she didn’t have any problems, despite climbing stairs and walking trails in the mountain! Wulai was a very serene and beautiful place… It was our last tour during our visit to Taiwan and I’m so glad we did not miss it. The drive itself was gorgeous. Tommy crafted the best itinerary to visit the mountain, the hotel at top (there’s a beautiful pond with a creek & coffee shop up there), the cable car ride with amazing views of waterfall, cute train ride to zip us down to the indigenous village, & plenty of time to walk around and eat/shop. Book Tommy!!!

Of all the tours I booked, this was my peesonal favorite. The tour agency notified me that there was not enough english speakers who booked for the tour so we are joininv the Chinese speaking group. Mr. Eric, our driver was very commendable and accommodating! He was truly helpful and he really tried to explain everything in English. Thank you for this lovely and calming experience! Our tour consisted of six people so very small and easy to get around in a minivan. The town visited on the Wulai mountain trip was very quiet and not crowded as other tours I have been on in Taipei. The tour guide was very nice and informative.

Taiwan can get quite chilly in the winter, and it's so nice to soak in a hot spring when you're traveling and feeling cold. The scenery is beautiful too. They were considerate enough to let us in 10 minutes early because we had kids, and up to two children can enter for free (height restrictions apply).
