Exhibition Introduction

INCUBASE Arena continues to bring exciting anime exhibition experiences to everyone. This time, the "Ryoko Kui Exhibition" and the "Delicious in Dungeon Dungeon Exploration Exhibition" are brought to Taiwan, serving as the third stop for the exhibition outside of Japan. It will feature precious illustrations from Ryoko Kui's early works, along with various on-site decorations from "Delicious in Dungeon" that will make visitors feel as if they are in the fantasy world of the work!

#Ryoko Kui's First Exhibition

Ryoko Kui is skilled at combining fantasy worlds with exquisite drawing styles, creating works such as "Dragon's School on the Mountain," "Seven Children of the Dragon's Cuteness," "The Terrarium in the Drawer," and "Delicious in Dungeon," which have become very popular in Japan and around the world. Ryoko Kui's first exhibition will feature over 150 exhibits, not only allowing visitors to appreciate replicated manuscripts and never-before-seen drawing videos, but also including interviews to help everyone understand the artist's creative ideas.

##Explore the "Delicious in Dungeon" Scenes in Person

"Delicious in Dungeon" is Ryoko Kui's first long-running manga series, telling the story of the protagonist who, to save his sister swallowed by a fire dragon, re-enters the dungeon with his teammates to explore and cook monster dishes. The setting of the dungeon and the detailed depiction of cooking monsters have captivated many readers. Earlier, to celebrate the anime's broadcast, a successful touring exhibition was held in various parts of Japan. This time, the dungeon from the work will also be recreated at the Taiwan venue, allowing fans to fully explore various fantastic monsters!

##"Delicious in Dungeon" Photo Spots, Limited Merchandise Store

In addition to the various intricate decorations that make visitors feel like they are in a dungeon, the exhibition also features several popular photo spots, including a giant fire dragon, a human-sized standee wearing a frog suit, and unique photo opportunities, allowing fans to take plenty of photos and create happy memories! There will also be a limited merchandise store at the venue, selling various official Japanese exhibition-exclusive merchandise and Taiwan station merchandise.

Review for: 預售單人票 Book now

I went to see the Ryoko Kui and Delicious in Dungeon exhibition 🍖. The exhibition space wasn't huge, but the flow was very well-designed. I felt the pre-sale ticket for 250 was well worth the price. You get a number ticket and can explore nearby until your number is called, then you go in. This means the space feels very open, and you don't have to worry about crowds when taking photos. This is a very important point! 😇 Memorable highlights: - The author seems to be very strict with herself and her work. - It turns out Laios is much taller than I thought. - My favorite character is now Senshi. - All the food models looked delicious 🥩.

Having only watched the anime, it's refreshing to see many scenes not featured in the animation, as well as original manga cover art. Besides the artwork, there are also many monster dishes and photo-op areas. There's a lot worth photographing and remembering, so don't miss out!

Review for: 預售單人票 Book now

There were many replica manuscripts and animated exhibits on display, and even siren songs playing in the background. Only three videos were off-limits for filming; everything else could be photographed. The ticket was definitely worth it. Perhaps because it wasn't crowded, we didn't need to get a number and could go straight in. A couple of items were sold out, which made me curious about what they were, a bit of a shame. The photo area with the frog-suited cutout was in the stairwell nearby.

Fantastic

Review for: 預售單人票 Book now

The exhibition content was rich, but unfortunately, the venue was far too small. The aisles were very narrow. Having visited exhibitions in Japan, I found them much more comfortable to navigate. This was a regrettable aspect of the exhibition, with some displays even placed in stairwells. The merchandise area also didn't feature many Japanese products.

Fantastic

Review for: 預售單人票 Book now

The route was smooth, with many classic scenes perfect for photos, and the food from the manga was faithfully recreated. However, the walkways were a bit narrow, making it easy to get stuck if you wanted to read the text descriptions, which slightly impacted the visit.

After visiting the Delicious in Dungeon exhibition, I felt that it brought the fantastical world of the work to life beautifully. From the characters and settings to the intricate details of the various monsters, everything was so interesting. It truly made me feel as if I had stepped into the dungeon myself, experiencing the charm of adventure combined with delicious food!

Review for: Presale single ticket Book now

A must-see for Ryoko Kui & Dungeon Meshi fans. The first section shows her earlier works — I’ve only read The Seven Little Sons of the Dragon, because it’s the only one with the English translation right now, but nonetheless that section is still quite interesting. The second section showcases the manga (which was the highlight of the entire exhibit for me). It showed a bunch of the alternative volume covers she considered, plus a bunch of nice panels / drawings (those seen in ED2, and some I haven’t seen/ not in Daydream Hour / Adventurer’s Bible). The third section is the anime section, with a lot more physical objects / replica / photo opportunities, which was also nice. They also have a stamp system where completing the stamps on your card completes a picture of one of the dishes in the series (a nice souvenir). There’s a store outside with lots of good merch (I think it’s accessible to everyone / no need for tickets). Overall a great experience, highly recommended for fans.
