Things to do in Wulai Falls

Of all the tours I booked, this was my peesonal favorite. The tour agency notified me that there was not enough english speakers who booked for the tour so we are joininv the Chinese speaking group. Mr. Eric, our driver was very commendable and accommodating! He was truly helpful and he really tried to explain everything in English. Thank you for this lovely and calming experience! I came to the public bath on a weekday and it's so quiet and nice. On the day I visited, only Taiwanese people were in the baths. The staff are very friendly... The receptionists speak excellent English, and when I wasn't sure where to go in the bath area, a staff member came over and used a translator to guide me. They were truly kind. I was a bit worried after reading other reviews, but it was really great. For those using the public bath, just show your Klook voucher at reception, get your key, go down the stairs, and the women's bath is on the left and the men's bath is on the right (written in Korean). You can enter accordingly. Like a Korean sauna, you put your shoes in the locker corresponding to your key number, come in, undress in a locker, put on a gown and a hair cap, then come to the public bath area, shower, and then enter the bath. They asked us to remove our makeup before entering if we were wearing any! (Let's be polite Koreans and follow this rule, haha.) But honestly, there's no need to wear makeup when going to a hot spring. Cell phones are prohibited inside the bath! You can use them in the resting area. And the water is super soft, it feels like it's good for your skin.

I've enjoyed onsens in Taiwan and this one takes one of the top spots for my favorite places. The view from the public bath was beautiful and serene. It has tea and coffee, the products you can use after bathing are of great quality too. My only concern was for some reason, the water from the showers only produced hot water even after turning the knob to cold. The jet pools are perfect. Overall a great experience.

Very convenient and easy to use. No need to queue in line to buy the actual ticket. There is no other way to reach the resort but through cable car. The view aas spectacular!

September 5, 2026. This is a family-style hot spring inn, so it's not recommended for those with high expectations! The hot spring water is very comfortable and leaves your skin feeling smooth. Basic amenities are provided. The couple's set meal was delicious and very filling. There aren't many parking spaces directly in front, but there are parking spots available nearby.

Extremely cute and fun. Its almost like a roller-coaster ride for kids. It gives you a nice view of the falls and river plus the surrounding nature dispersed amongst some dwellers. It is a nice ride. It moved nicely

One of the highlights of my Taiwan trip was visiting Wulai. It’s a beautiful spot and perfect for anyone looking for a quick escape from city life. The hot spring experience was especially memorable, as it was my first time trying an onsen. The facilities were excellent, and it was nice to see locals in the bathhouse who seemed to already know each other, it gave the place a warm, community feel. Although none of the staff were proficient in English, they still made sure I was well taken care of. What made the experience even better was the free meal after the bath and the complimentary shuttle back to the town proper. Overall, it was a relaxing and worthwhile experience, and I would definitely come back on my next visit to Taiwan.

The environment is very tranquil, the staff is extremely polite and helpful, and the meals are both healthy and delicious. There is also a reading room available for rest and relaxation. The bathroom features a separate shower area and is very comfortable. Overall, the experience was exceptionally warm and welcoming.

We took the shortest trail to see the waterfall. A leisurely walk to and fro the trail will take approximately 45 minutes. Rest rooms mid way to the waterfall observation deck was also very clean. Unfortunately, the observation deck to the upper part of the waterfall was not accessible due to the fallen stones. There was even a scenic and forest bathing trail that may take a longer time.
